I changed my answer from Lapis to Amethyst.

Lapis has the most interesting powers in my opinion.

I can't imagine much benefit of being Lapis. First you're trapped in a mirror for centuries, then you're trapped under the ocean for a few more years devoting constant energy to staying fused to keep an angry gem from getting loose. Then there's your own anger and depression and having a temporarily cracked gem.
