I think the vampire royal family has just always had the purest of blood, and Wrath just happens to be the last surviving member of the royal family. It's a society thing, the purer your blood, the higher and আরো worthy আপনি are in the vampire aristocracy. His pure blood is also responsible for his blindness. I find his pureblood/family history confusing myself, but if আপনি dig a little deeper into it, I think there was actually a bit of in-breeding involved in Wrath's family... ew. XD
