Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Robin Tunney\'s parents are bummed \'The Mentalist\' is ending
Robin Tunney is, as you\'d expect, having bittersweet feelings about the series finale of "The Mentalist." She\'s sad that the show is ending Wednesday (Feb. 18) after seven seasons, but eternally grateful for its long run and the friendships she built with her co-stars and the crew.
"It\'s a miracle that something stays on the air this long, it\'s just a miracle," Tunney tells Zap2it. "You do form very strong bonds, and saying goodbye to people who you know you\'ll see again, but not in the same way, is very emotional."
Tunney has come to terms with the ending, but her mom and dad might need a little extra help: "I think my parents are going to mourn the loss of the show the most," she says.

"As an actor, your parents worry about you when you choose to do this for a living," Tunney adds. "I\'ve been in their living room, on TV once a week, and it\'s brought them so much joy, and all of their friends love the show. I\'ve done a lot of independent movies beforehand, and my mom would call and be like, \'OK, who\'s in the movie? Never heard of him. Is it gonna be in a theater near my house?\' This has been wonderful for them -- it\'s made my father very popular."
Except, that is, when she didn\'t tell him Lisbon and Jane (Simon Baker) finally became a couple. "He\'s with his homies every morning at McDonald\'s, and he was furious I didn\'t tell him we ended up together," Tunney says. "He was like, \'They ask.\' He goes for the 65-cent, senior citizen discount coffee every morning. He\'s got a klatch going, and they all love the show and watch it."
Tunney will be watching the finale Wednesday night with her parents, who she says will be providing a running commentary -- "the Tunney critique." She also expects them to come away from the episode feeling satisfied.

"You want to give people a happy ending, and you want to see the girl get the guy and the guy get the girl and people sort of walk off into the sunset with all\'s right in the world," Tunney says. "It\'s a populist show, and you want to give people what they want. Ultimately, I think that is what they wanted."
The two-hour "Mentalist" series finale airs at 8 p.m. ET/PT Wednesday on CBS.
