When people call us 'Twihards', does it feel insulting?

Personally to me, it doesn't. The media calls Twilight অনুরাগী "Twihards" and I don't really see anything bad about it. It's no different than "Twilighters".

It just means a die hard Twilight fan. However, "Twidiots", meaning Twilight Idiots, অথবা "Twitards", meaning Twilight Retards, I am a little offended. I mean, it's not nice to be called retarded অথবা idiots. It doesn't feel good. But, I'm not overly disgusted দ্বারা the terms. I know some of them don't mean anything দ্বারা it. It's just a term they are accustomed to, a term they called twilight fans. I don't think they are personally calling each অনুরাগী a twilight idiot অথবা retard. I think the term is mainly pointed towards the fangirls who only gush about the "hot" guys and have absolutely no clue about the story অথবা plotline.

In life, we are always going to be discriminated for something. It happened in the past, and it'll happen in the future. We just have to know what we believe in and stand firm in that belief. And that doesn't mean with just Twilight. It could be a certain style আপনি like, অথবা what color অথবা race আপনি are. But staying true to yourself, that's really all we can do. If আপনি betray your self confidence অথবা your beliefs, then they win. Who are they to define who আপনি are! Don't let anyone get to you. Just because they say আপনি are an idiot doesn't mean আপনি are one :) You're your own person. আপনি were fearfully and wonderfully made. :)

I think "Twihard" just means die-hard Twilight fan. The "Twi" part is Twilight, of course, and the "hard" part is from die-hard. So, it doesn't offend me at all.

"Twitard," though, does offend me. It means retarded Twilight fan. (Twi=Twilight; tard=retard)

Although some people use the term Twihard as an insult, most of the people I know don't mean it like that. It's just a way to distinguish who is simply a অনুরাগী of Twilight and those who absolutley love. I know who people who would take it as a compliment if others distinguished them as Twihards. It just depends on the person. Personally, I don't really like the series, so I wouldn't like to be called a Twihard.

Well, it doesn't affect me since I'm not what আপনি would call a huge Twilight fan, just a simple one.

But I can definitely understand a person's feelings when they are offended দ্বারা the word "Twihard".

Just দ্বারা saying it to myself, I can feel some offense there.

To be honest, no.
I can see how it could be an insult to others but, I don't feel insulted when someone calls me a Twihard.

It just shows how immature they are and it proves that they are not worth bothering, unless of course they're kidding around অথবা being sarcastic.

And I take it as a compliment, at least classing me as a "Twihard" says, I have good taste!

I just ignore people who insult us and others should too because they are always going to be around.
