Wolverine & the X-Men 

In my opinion, I don't think it's such a good idea to make Wolverine a leader. Not that I question his ability to lead, but it would ruin him as a character. It would make him too serious, Cyclops-like. How would he be able to run away to his business and go berserk and be rebellious and talk back to the leader, and disregard orders etc. etc.? Most definitely, there will have to be someone else in the team to do all these, and what will that make of Wolvie?
I think he'd be better off if he were second in command. It is so much funnier when he is grumbling to himself about this and that. Plus I see him as a leader in the shadow, the one who suggests ideas.
