Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:

Daily Billboard has to say \'bravo\' to the theatrical marketing team at Fox Studios who came up with this uncanny outdoor ad campaign for X-Men: Apocalypse.
Rather than trying to fit in the all-star cast into one all-encompassing ad creative as with previous films in the franchise, they are shining a spotlight on
Marvel\'s merry mutants and their unique powers, resulting in some striking visuals around the sprawling city streets.
These outdoor ads have an energy about them and it\'s not just the characters striking a heroic pose, which has become a bit of a familiar superhero movie trope in recent times.
X-Men cinematic universe after the initial trilogy and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, they were very clever by telling stories in different time periods.
Cuban Missile Crisis, then it was the 70s and a glimpse of things to come for the classic Days of Future Past comic book adaptation, and now its the neon day-glo 80s to tell the story of Apocalypse and his Four Horsemen.
This time the long-lived first mutant (played by
Oscar Isaac) has chosen four familiar faces to be his heralds of death and destruction, Michael Fassbender\'s Master of Magnetism \'Magneto\', Alexandra Shipp\'s tempest-taming \'Storm\', Olivia Munn\'s psychic ninja \'Psylocke\' and Ben Hardy\'s high-soaring winged-death, \'Angel\'.
Apocalypse has plagued Professor Xavier\'s X-Men since his introduction in X-Factor #5 in 1986, and there have been countless battles between the ancient shape-shifting supervillain and the outcast mutant heroes over the years, so this new movie has lots of material to draw upon.
This mix of dynamic ad creatives and cut-out special extension billboards for
X-Men: Apocalypse were spied dominating the streets and skies of L.A. from May 2 to May 8, 2016, along Bronson Avenue, Pico Boulevard, the Sunset Strip and high above Santa Monica Place.
Fox Studios cinematic \'Mutantverse\' can also check out these
X-Men: Days of Future Past movie billboards, The Wolverine movie billboards and the fun Deadpool outdoor ad campaign.
You know, even though these movies tend to mix up timelines and characters (much to fanboy chagrin), they certainly seem to have nailed the iconic looks of
Storm and Psylocke in this installment, don\'t you think?
Meanwhile if you\'re a fan of the movies, then you\'ll also enjoy checking out these original
X-Men: Apocalypse movie costumes on display around L.A. at the moment.
Daily Billboard would love to have Storm\'s weather-controlling powers at this time of year, as L.A.\'s \'May Grey\' makes photography conditions much more difficult with all the gloomy cloud cover which makes taking all these photos with clear skies harder, but we digress.
Now if only the film can live up to the promise of these billboards,
And let\'s see if audiences will sit through another two and a half hours of superheroics after doing the same thing for the recent
Captain America: Civil War non-stop action extravaganza.
