Also, a quick reminder. I previously stated after I came back after a year long hiatus that the previous seven winners wouldn't be eligible for re-election since I was restarting the contest. That has since been retracted, as evidenced by Jubilee winning two weeks ago and Domino winning last week. That means that Cyclops, Archangel, Mystique, Rogue, and Magma are all available to pop up in later polls. This was decided due to low activity in the club and on the polls themselves.

However, everyone chosen Week Eight or later is unavailable for re-election at this time, given how those polls are recent. I decided not to start over at Week One again because that would have been a crazy amount of work for me. (Remember, I'm selfish :D)

Anyway, on my choice for this week, I love Lorna. I was first introduced to her as a member of X-Factor and I fell in love with her character. She was sassy and fun, not afraid to give as good as she got with her teammates, but also not afraid to defend them with everything she has when the going got tough. I was also supremely jealous of how gorgeous she was and how flawless she looked with her green hair (which Lord knows I would manage to clash with every article of clothing I own).

I'm going with Shatterstar because this is a character that has a lot of personal meaning to me. I love what Peter David did with him in X-Factor and just the depth he added to the character (he also pissed off Rob Liefeld which is always a bonus in my opinion). I just really love how fun this character has become since he's embraced the messy world of human emotions.

It looks like I didn't set this one to close properly before Sunday, but the voting actually ended at roughly 8:30 am EST. Sorry to the second Kurt voter, but it didn't count for him as the Week 13 poll was already posted and the winner for this week was already announced. Better luck to Kurt next time.
