American Horror Story: Sarah Paulson Confirmed for Season 6 

Season 6 is about, but we can identify another member of the cast.

vet Sarah Paulson confirmed Tuesday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour that she is indeed a member of the top-secret Season 6 ensemble. The current Emmy nominee — for her role as

— declined to provide any details about who she is playing in the latest chapter of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology.

 alum to confirm a sixth-season return;  Cheyenne Jackson announced his participation in June; Lady Gaga revealed in March that she’ll be back, though she didn’t say “how or when,” and Angela Bassett let news of her return slip during a February interview with Larry King.

Earlier in the day, FX Networks’ CEO John Landgraf — when pressed about Season 6’s hush-hush premise — told reporters that his marketing team “went out and created many more trailers than you’ve actually seen for hypothetical seasons of 

, in different genres, different places. One of them is accurate, and the others are all misdirects.”

Well, duh! An AHS season without Sarah Paulson just wouldn’t be the same. But then again, I used to think the same thing about Jessica Lange…

So far, she’ll be the only one who’s been in every season. I’m trying to think who else is eligible for that title at this point.

I believe it’s just Evan Peters; plus Lily Rabe, if you count her cameo in Freak Show as her Asylum character.

Why wouldn’t someone count Lily Rabe? Just because she played the same character in two seasons doesn’t take away the fact she still appeared in every season.

I was thinking less about the fact it was a repeat character and more that it was just a cameo – one short scene in one episode – rather than a recurring role that was integral to the season.

It definitely counts, but it should be weighed differently than the others; Peters in particular, who has had a fairly pivotal and meaty role in every season.

I believe she confirmed it a few weeks ago on Chelsea. Maybe I’m wrong.

Her and Angela need to be the lead of this show, instead of Gaga taking over for Lange it should have been Angela & Sarah I think they have proven themselves to be lead worthy.
