Dub killed অথবা improved the humor?

I dont really like subs and all the dubs Ive watched are pretty good. ^_^
Especially FMA ;3

Not only it makes a bit আরো sense since the জীবন্ত is suppose to be taking in England, but it sounds a bit funnier when things happen.

improved অথবা at least stayed about the same:

Durarara!!
One Piece
Hellsing Ultimate Ova's (the ones that have actually been translated are pretty good)
Nabari no Ou (when there was humor)

Ruined অথবা was just better in Japanese:

Black Butler
Bleach, do like the english version, most of the voice actors were spot on to the japanese talent but in japanese other characters were less annoying আরো likable অথবা আরো menacing same with.....
Naruto

with most জীবন্ত its, either or, unless its a long running series. I will usually try the english version 1st just cause i feel like i might miss something either in the translation অথবা the জীবন্ত when watching subs

Improved: Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne the translation for a lot of the jokes was better and less awkward. It's like the subtitles were too literal in translation so didn't make any sense.

Ga-Rei: Zero (except for episode 12) Hmm, well I wouldn't say they fully improved it because thinking back Funimation did actually screw up some of the translations for that show. They projected the wrong feelings for certain situations. But there are a few parts that did improve/make things funnier.

Murdered: K-ON! like seriously it's pitiful from BOTH Animax AND Bondai

Panty & মোজা with Garterbelt the voices just weren't made for that type of art style. I know they can't have minors doing it but Stocking's voice was too mature for her. Panty's voice was actually good for her but her Japanese voice actress had such a unique voice it's hard to compete with no matter what XD Plus their accents make swearing sound funnier. And because there's so much cussing in the প্রদর্শনী listening to the censored version is just "BEEP" the whole time. Though there is an uncensored version but meh....

Just an afterthought but I noticed a lot of people consider the dubs funnier and I think (for those of us that don't really know Japanese anyways) it's the fact that জাপান has their own jokes just like any other country has their own so us Westerners might not get a joke that Japanese people would. আপনি know what I mean? অথবা sometimes a familiar projection of words in one's own language make things funnier. But of course some shows are just not that great in Japanese even if আপনি do speak it. Just a thought...

Better in English dub:

হেটালিয়া ♥ The fact FUNimation used voice actors to act in a countries accent made the প্রদর্শনী hilarious! FUNimation's English dub of হেটালিয়া has আরো humor to it as well.

Examples:

Sub: "I say we hit Italy first cause he's weak!"
Dub: "I say we hit Italy first cause they can't drive and their usually drunk!"

Sub: "I hate winter so much!"
Dub: Winter can suck on my jungle bells!"

Panty and মোজা With Garterbelt ♥

In the first 20 সেকেন্ড of the dub I noticed there was already a part that was cut out but kept in the sub. I don't know if that's a FUNimtaion thing অথবা not but that scene didn't deserve to be cut. Considering the fact that scene wasn't really inappropriate imagine what other scene's would be cut out! (Because Panty & মোজা is extremely inappropriate xD)

As for the voices, I don't think dub worked for this series.

I enjoyed in the sub how both the girls would swear in English even though they're Japanese!

And the voices, just, I'm not sure... I just didn't feel the joy of watching it in dub rather then sub.

The humor? I did find that special "FUNimation touch" to their episodes.
But I still found the sub to be better in other ways.

Also, Hearing a "BEEP" every few মিনিট didn't make the জীবন্ত better...

The only জীবন্ত that I prefer dub of is Hetalia, which shows their accents আরো than in sub :) So, I think Hetalia's dub is an improvement.

In dub, I found হেটালিয়া and Black Lagoon to be a hell of a lot আরো entertaining, but most others just kill it for me, Ouran Highschool Host Club was the only other tolerable one, and even so I preferred the sub.

Amazing shows like Clannad, অ্যাঞ্জেল Beats, and Elfen Lied I found to be completely ruined দ্বারা the dubs.

i say it depends on which language আপনি can understand but i can speak so i cant say anything

I generally প্রণয় dubs and there's only been one জীবন্ত where I had to watch in subs and that is Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles.

I don't really watch subs only when I have too because for either they haven't dubbed the rest অথবা they stopped dubbing them. For me I think the Dubs improve the humor like for Baka and Test and Ouran I thought the comedy was better in the dubs than the subs , to me the dubs make it funnier than it's supposed to be and for a প্রদর্শনী like Black Butler I think it's better with the British accents than the Japanese voices. And for a প্রদর্শনী like FMA:Brotherhood I would prefer Ed's voice to sound আরো like a man than a woman
