Is unchristian সঙ্গীত allowed?

Let me put it this way - the Bible isn't the only book আপনি read, is it? Just because সঙ্গীত doesn't celebrate God and Christ doesn't mean it's not worth listening to. It's like কবিতা and literature. Listen to what আপনি want, just don't betray your own values and beliefs.

Besides, if it's really "un-Christian", just don't take its messages to heart. I think there are messages in certain teenage literature that is destructive, but I still read it to know what they're reading, and to be able to discuss it with them and set them straight. If আপনি know the music, আপনি can talk to people about why সঙ্গীত about, for example, having lots of sex and killing people, provides a perfect example of what NOT to do.

You're not a sheep, right? আপনি don't just do whatever আপনি see on TV. If আপনি watch Law and Order, আপনি don't go out and kill someone because that's what they did on the show. It's entertainment, not a morality lesson. But, like I said, আপনি can MAKE it a morality lesson দ্বারা using it as example of what NOT to do.

I listen to all kinds of music, whether it's Christian অথবা not. My family isn't really religious, so no one is there to try and stop me like in your situation. However, I do feel that it's okay so long as the সঙ্গীত doesn't push আপনি away from Christ অথবা drive আপনি to do weird stuff.

I listen all sorts of music, and most of'em are un- christian and I'm a believer. I think that those who are Jehovah's Witnesses are not allowed to listen any sort of সঙ্গীত except psalms. Of course i have also সঙ্গীত which is christian. But the most important is that you're happy and if you're happy when আপনি listen un- christian সঙ্গীত then why not আপনি can't listen it. We all are sinners and we can't live without doing sins. That's how's it been since human commoned a sin.
Becides যীশু forgives everyones sins. That's why He came to us to die for us so that we can enter to Heaven when we die and if we believe in Him.
    

It depends...there is a lot of non-Christian সঙ্গীত that is not bad at all, and there is some non-Christian সঙ্গীত that is bad. My parents don't really care about it as long as it's not really awful, but I do try to stay away from the bad music. If it is non-Christian সঙ্গীত but there is nothing wrong with it, then it should be fine.

As long as the words are not blasphemous to God. As as long as the words are not bad, অথবা evil, then why not lesson to GOOD music. I lesson to rock-n-roll. But I'm picky about which songs I lesson to.
