For people who were expecting this প্রবন্ধ to be earlier, really sorry about that! But I've been getting ready for school(WAH!), so...you get the point.

So, this article(as আপনি can obviously see from the title) is about Stephanie Meyer. Oh yes, I'm pretty sure you've heard of her. The লেখক of the Twilight Saga and the Host, she's pretty much one of the most জনপ্রিয় writers at this point. Why?
I really don't know.

1)Her writing
Okay, even back when I was a mega অনুরাগী of twilight(bows head in shame), I never liked the writing. Its just..not good. Hard to explain really. Now পাঠ করা the বই again, one things went through my mind the whole time:
How did she get a degree in English Litarature?
Also, the facts that she uses fancy adjectives in like, every sentence, does not maker her a good writer.

2)Attiude
I'm sure আপনি heard of Midnight Sun being canceled(if not, what rock are আপনি living in?), and Meyer simpily ব্যক্ত on the subject:

I mean...come on!
Ok, I understand being upset. If I was লেখা a novel and it got leaked, I be upset too. But the fact that আপনি have SO many অনুরাগী who want আপনি to continue this novel, and আপনি stop লেখা it just because আপনি thinks its not worth it. আপনি shouldn't do that to your fans.

3)Breaking Dawn
I guess আপনি can say that this isn't about me complaning about Stephanie Meyer, but Twilight it self, but she wrote the series, so it counts right?
Yes? Okay then
Now...Breaking Dawn aka worst book ever, seemed so...rushed. I mean, exploding stomach babies? Half-breeds? What was she thinking? I mean, even a lot of twilight fans(mostly NOT on fanpop) hate the book. My sister aka one of the biggest twilight অনুরাগী aka Edward Obsessor, hated the book.
But if আপনি like it, thats fine. I don't have a problem with that
But back on the subject.

4)Reserch
Yes, reserch can be annoying, but it can also make your book better. One of the main problems I have with "Eclipse" is when Rosalie tells Bella that while she was living in New York during the Great Depression, was able to stay in a Middle Class cession, because her father owned a bank.
Yeah, Stephanie?
Do আপনি want to know what the main problem during the Great Depression was?
The banks FAILED!

I mean, that really annoyed me

5)She based Bella on herself
Many people do deny this, but its quite obvious that Bella is based on herslef. I mean, the looks! Bella and Stephanie basically have the same looks. Stephanie tried to defend herself দ্বারা saying "Bella was আরো mature than I was in high school."
A) Not a good excuse at all
B) Bella mature? REALLY?

Nicoleandjames one thing why is people joining this spot when it cleary is about dissing twilight think people

Nicoleandjames and oh yea like all the orginal twilight fans who have been for years hated breaking dawn btw i was an orgianl twilight fan but lost my taste in it by reading way better books and knowing all the faults to this book

katiecain Nicoleandjames, this spot is NOT about 'dissing twilight'. It states in the rules this is NOT an anti spot, it's for exactly what it is called: critical analysis of Twilight. And in the description it says it's for 'Twilight fans looking for intelligent discussion'. So don't tell people they need to think when you obviously have not read the rules. Just sayin'.

Nicoleandjames it makes no sense to me though that a twilighter would want to come on here when almost everyone one here is bashing it, it's like why can't they just join some other spot

katiecain In my experience, most do not bash here. They are simply critical about Twilight, which is what the spot is about. I'm a fan, and I really like it here. Why should they have to join another spot? This spot is for Twilight fans too.

Plenilunio Agreed. The different between criticizing and bashing is: a) Criticizing: Twilight is flawed because... (insert long explanation providing arguments and examples). b) Bashing: Twilight is a piece of shit and everyone who likes it is retarded. Take look at the forums, images, articles and links. Yes, we laugh at the books, it is called "parody" and it is very healthy. You can even laugh mercilessly at things you like as a way to point out their flaws and weaknesses. We laugh at the fangirls too, not at the fans. And just in case this isn't clear, we laugh (and sometimes get shocked) at crazy rabid fangirls whose behaviours range from saying "ur juz jeluz,biotch!!1!" whenever someone disagrees with them to actually attempting to kill people and succeeding to kill their pets. Fans who provide reasonable arguments in favor of the book and are open to debate are very welcome.

Nicoleandjames to me it doesn't make sense because if you love the book why would you want to come on a spot and have people bring out all the faults and b why would you still like the book if these people bring out all the faults its like someone telling you all the negative things that could happen when you eat candy but you just ingore the side affects because you don't care that you will get fat

mandapanda that's your opinion, and I respect that, but critical, in this case, means to analyze. So, if people think there are flaws, then this spot is where they can freely talk about it/discuss/debate. You can either choose to just read the book, or you can dig deeper and get under the surface. The feelings are all nuetral here. Everyone has respect for one another. And I think that's pretty awesome! Respect for others' opinions are really hard to come by in the twilight fandom nowadays! :) This spot welcomes those who have questions and want reasonable and rational answers. Also, it's to discuss the ridiculous things the twilight marketing business comes up with. haha It's all friendly. Being honest, to me, it doesn't make sense for those who know this spot contains stuff they don't like, yet come here and lurk. If you don't like the spot, don't click the link. It's that simple. You can simply ignore it and move on. :)

katiecain They're not faults in everyone's opinions though. While I respect what some people think about the books or characters, I don't agree with all of them. Also, I think it's pretty ignorant to just ignore any bad points someone brings up about something you like. I like dissucussing the good and bad points.

Plenilunio If there is any prize Twilight is nominated to and that it's awarded to whatever gets more votes, Twilight will win, it's a fact. There will be hordes of crazy Twihards deleting cookies, inventing email addresses and turning their modems on and off non-stop in order to vote again and again. Also, they will post "OMG!!!!1!!! VOTE4TWILIGHT!1!!1111!" threads in every corner of teh intarwebs. Nope, I'm not kidding about those cheating techniques. It wouldn't be the first time I've seen people do them.

Nicoleandjames yea i know they vote for it over and over again i never agree with mtv awards anyway but i probably knew that twilight was gonna win everything when ashley tisdale won the award for breakthrough performance when that award should have gone to frido pinto for slumdog milliare i don't think i spelt that right but what probably got me most mad was the dark knight fight scene lost to twilights fight scene i hardly call that twilight fight scene a fight scene because it was done in what about a minitue

katiecain Plenilunio is right, Twilight will always win at shows aimed at teens (at least now anyway). I was annoyed too, there's no way they deserved it (though I dunno what this has to do with the article XD)

Plenilunio ^ Well, err... it has to do with the article because SMeyer sometimes seems the devil incarnate, her evil empire is everywhere, getting stronger and gaining more powers and zombies... I mean fans every day and... that's one reason to not like her as a author!
