I don't think I can answer any of these questions. I can't assign just one trait to any character. Especially Carlisle. I see him as a man thrown into a life he was raised against, now devoted to finding the good in the evil he thought to be inevitable, spreading his alternate living methods to the willing.

I was wondering though what characteristic they thought shone through the strongest, or the characteristics they can immediately associate with that character. Did I forget to allow people to add their own opinions?

No, but I wouldn't know what to add, since I can't pinpoint one single characteristic. It's not something you're doing wrong, it's just something I can't figure out.
