i cried during the end of beauty and the beast the first time i watched it and i still cry during the end of the little mermaid when ariel tells her dad she loves him.
A few of them can really tug at my heartstrings inside, but I'm generally not the kind of person to cry during movies. Closest would be Pocahontas and Mulan.
First time I saw PATF, I cried when Ray died. I always have tears in my eyes during BATB when Beast dies. I also get teary eyed at the end of Pocahontas.
yeah, I cry when watching certain scenes in disney movies. I cried in The little mermaid, beauty and the beast, pocahontas (the ending) and a buncha others i cant rememebr xD
I get teary eyed when I watched PatF when Ray died, and I think I cried when Shang deserted Mulan, and maybe (MAYBE!!!) I got a bit teary eyed when Triton made Ariel cry...MAYBE!!!
The little mermiad ending and mulan when everyone bows to her and respects her..those get me all the time...beauty and the beast too..it was my ex's fav disney movie so thats another reason too
Not like actually sobbing or anything, but the DP movies have this unique ability to make me get really teary eyed. Like, I start tearing up at the climax and it lasts until the happy ending. But only Disney movies have this effect on me :p
I don't cry and I don't know why. I cried when my cat died but movies never make me cry. Movies can be really touching and I can feel really sad or happy but it never show.
But always when I watch Princess and the frog when Ray dies I feel more sad than when Beast was dying. Funny that I don't like Ray so much but music is beautiful.
There's never been a movie that has made me tear up, as I'm usually not the one to cry because of movies. There are some situations that make me feel sad though, such as when Ariel's grotto is destroyed, and when Ray dies. I also get a bit emotional everytime I see Eugene die.
The same goes for books, but I was full-on sobbing yesterday when I was reading a book my friend recommended for me. It was so sad, but so well-written
I can't say I cried, but definitely teared up during some moments of Tangled when I watched it for the first time because not only it had one of the completely heartwrenching scenes in Disney (when Flynn dies), but it also triggered a lot of painful memoties of my own life and emotional abuse I had to deal with. Also I cried once during the "I love you, daddy" scene in the Little Mermaid for personal reasons, knowing that me and my father will never reach the level of understanding that Ariel and Triton did in the end.
But always when I watch Princess and the frog when Ray dies I feel more sad than when Beast was dying. Funny that I don't like Ray so much but music is beautiful.
