I think only two characters stood out to me Ariel and Triton. All the rest was bland, Annoying or both. I did love the story and the dialog a lot. The songs to Part of you world to under the sea was pretty good. I love the movie overall!

Personally, I love all of it (except the buggy-eyed animation style).

I think the only thing people really hate about it is Ariel, thankfully there are A LOT of people who love her, just not here on Fanpop.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I love everything about The Little Mermaid BUT the little mermaid.

I love the songs in the movie, but other than that I agree with the other to options. I basically hate Ariel for being annoying and shellfish (:p) Eric for being bland, and a few other characters. The dialogue could be really annoying and the plot at times got off track and didn't make room for character development.
