Story reveals from Game of Thrones Season 5 – leaks, photos, video
WASHINGTON, November 5, 2014 – Game of Thrones is offering up some pre-season five leaks for the show that returns. That means spoilers to follow. But really are they spoilers or, like a perfect amuse bouche, nothing more than a small bite to whet our appetite for the shows fifth season premiering this spring on Sunday April 6, 2015.
Last seasons Thrones became the most watched HBO series, surpassing the previous record holder The Sopranos with more than 18.6 million viewers watching the show on various platforms – form first view television room viewing to phablets.
Previously the show has affected the tourism to its filming sites in Dubrovnik, Croatia (King’s Landing) and locations around Belfast, Northern Ireland. Other filming sites have include Iceland and Morocco.
For season five, filming locations include Seville and Osuna Spain where they have placed the city of Dorn.

We left King’s Landing, as did Tyrion (Peter Dinkladge) following what was, even for GOT, a shocking season finale that had Tryion killing father Tywin on the toilet (a fitting end) and the one person he truly loved, Shae.
Following King Geoffrey’s death, brother Tommen is sitting on the Iron Throne and Cersei (Lena Headey) is plotting. Prince Oberyn is brutally dead. Lannister power is waning while over at Casterly Rock, Littlefinger has done away with that annoying Lysa Arryn with a one-way plummet through the moon door.
Lord Robin, who is less than robust and more than annoying, and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) are the only persons in the way of Littlefinger ascending to Lord of the Vale. I would not bet on Petyr over Sansa though.
Theon/Reek has helped Ramsay Sno/Bolton and dear daddy Roose clear out the Iron Islander’s, including sis Yara. Jon Snow (Kit Harington), who is way up North on the Wall has made frenemies with Mance Rayder after some brutal tussles with the Wilding army.
Which brings us to season five and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) is still living in Salver’s Bay, srefusing to leave Meereen with it out of control. With Dany is Hizdahr zo Loraq, Grey Worm and Missandei. When we left, Khalessi was locking her dragons away as they have gotten beyond her control, killing livestock and an innocent child.
She had captured Viserion and Rhaegal in the catacombs but Drogon is still loose and photos released show Tyrion and Danerius at Daznak’s Pit in Osuna’s Plaza del Toro, a Meereen fighting pit (think gladiator arena), where Dany’s wedding to Hizdahr zl Loraq (Joel Fry) is being celebrated.

Yes this makes the third brutal GOT’s wedding.
In Martin’s book, the disgraced Jorah does not fight in the pits, however, it appears from leaked pictures that he is indeed fighting – but the question is who or what is he ultimately fleeing from, once again protecting Kahlessi.
Spoilers say at Dany’s wedding, Drogon that Drogon, the dragon that killed the livestock, comes looking for his mother… torching a few dozen of the Unsullied along the way. Leaked video, sans CGI Dragon, seems to support that leak.

Interesting to this watcher is that they have brought Tyrion and Dany together on a fast track and bringing Dany into the King’s landing story arc has been too long coming.
Also leaked is that Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and Hodor (Kristian Nairn) will not be around for season five. Entertainment Weekly reports that making sense to series readers Bran’s story has moved to far along upsetting the timeline of other character stories.
“Ideally that wouldn’t have gotten out and it’s unfortunate it did,” Benioff tells EW. “The fact is, even though we’re making changes to the books and adapting as necessary, we’re trying to keep the various story lines the same as the books and trying to keep them roughly [chronologically] parallel.
As we left Bran last season, he was with the mystic three-eyed raven and going into a period of training to learn to “warg” or transform into other forms and come closer to reaching his destiny.
GOT’s fans always want more, so they will be thrilled to know that HBO has renegotiated contracts with principal actors including a possible seventh season. Along with those reports are that “A” level actors, like Peter Dinklage, will received nice raises for that seventh season.
“With one of the largest and most diverse ensemble casts on TV, Thrones employs a tiered system to compensate its stars, according to sources. The “A” tier — which includes actors Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) — is paid at the highest level. The “A” tier actors are said to have renegotiated their deals in concert.
“The lower-salaried “B” tier — which is said to include co-stars Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) and others — is said to be scoring raises as well in exchange for season seven options. A still-lower tier of regular actors will receive much smaller pay increases, according to sources.”
April seems a long way off but we can rest assured that GOT’s will keep a steady stream of leaks, videos and photos as the amuse bouche to our weekly entree.
And we can’t wait to find out how Ayra Stark (Maisie Williams) will find Braavos.
