Don't want to become a weaboo? I've been a অনুরাগী of হেটালিয়া ever since it started, and I've seen many ups and downs of the fandom. Every two days অথবা so a new immature fangirl/fanboy spews out immature rants, photos, অথবা arguments concerning ships, characters, etc. If you're a new অনুরাগী who DOESN'T want to turn out as the most famous weaboo in Hetalia, here's some tips from an older fan.
1. NEVER overrate a character.
First of all, overrated characters get annoying and আপনি will likely ruin the characters for other fans. It's okay to like one character আরো than others, and it's very wise to like them for mature reasons. It's okay just to like them because they're handsome অথবা pretty, but NEVER ever say "He/she is the best character in Hetalia! (other character) is horrible!" that will lead to a hurt fan, a corrupted reputation, and a newly disliked character. I think a good example of an overrated character is England. Most of his অনুরাগী are making disgusting Reader x England fanfictions, gross অনুরাগী arts, and annoying মতামত concerning his looks. I'm not saying I hate him, I'm saying he's a character that's overrated. It's okay to like England and make him your পছন্দ character, but don't spew it in other's faces. And also, it's unfair for other characters and its fans-love আরো than just one.
2. NEVER start a shipping war.
It's okay to not like a ship because a character that doesn't appeal to you, but don't argue on it. For example, I don't ship FrUk. I'm not saying I hate it, it's just that I never really thought France was a character that appealed to me. But even though আপনি don't like a ship, NEVER EVER EVER rant on how much আপনি hate it. Respect other's opinions. Other people might like that ship and might get butthurt অথবা angry. If আপনি feel like আপনি offended someone অথবা hurt his/her feelings, say sorry. And if you're explaining to another অনুরাগী why আপনি don't like the ship, say it respectively and calmly and give mature reasons.
Okay, okay, আপনি hate USUK. Even if আপনি hate it with a burning passion, don't just go on the USUK fansite and bash the shippers. Let people ship what they ship, even if আপনি think it's gross!
3. Don't get butthurt on people who rant/say they don't like Hetalia.
Hey, it doesn't matter if the dude's ranting অথবা simply saying they don't like it. It's THEIR opinion-an opinion simply different from yours. It's understandable they don't like হেটালিয়া if they feel it's racist, and that's a pretty mature reason. Don't get mad at them-especially if they have mature reasons. If their reasons are foolish and immature, calmly say your thoughts. Here's an example:
"Hetalia was not made to spew hate on other countries. It's simply stereotypes. I could be mad that my country, America, is an arrogant, selfish, ignorant jerk, but actually, it made me laugh. হেটালিয়া is simply a প্রদর্শনী that makes us feel proud of who we are and to laugh at our dumb sides. :)"

4. হেটালিয়া is NOT yaoi.
It is TOTALLY FINE if আপনি like a জ্যায়াই couple, but don't let it make আপনি lose sight of what it is. Your ship is NOT everything. হেটালিয়া is where these countries do stupid stuff, duh XD.
5. Don't hate a character because it "gets in the way".
Like how our poor female characters get so much hate because "they get in the way of the yaoi." Excuse, me, they are not. People are simply shipping straight couples. And those couples ARE NOT canon, so don't make a big deal. If আপনি don't like a character, just keep it to yourself অথবা simply and politely say "I just don't like him/her." And don't rant, either.
6. PLEASE. Just...NO. DO. NOT. RANT!!!!
It's okay to not like something in Hetalia, but don't rant on it, especially if it's foolish reasons! আপনি could hurt someone. And if আপনি want to share your thoughts, say it politely and with mature reasons.
7. At least try to find something to like about a "disliked" character.
Remember, stereotypes. If আপনি don't like Prussia because he's too egotistical, calm down and think...the Prussian people were very proud of their history, and HimaPapa went overboard and made him that way. Remember, STEREOTYPES. At least try to find something about a character that আপনি like just a little, and that will keep আপনি from hating him/her and encourage আপনি to like the whole cast.
8. Sit back and relax and enjoy. Don't get offended.
This is a প্রদর্শনী of stereotypes. And instead of hating America because he's "too annoying," try liking his funny antics...hey, that's something আপনি could find in your country, and you're proud of it, don't you?
9. UGHHH....I HATE THIS PROBLEM, CAN I JUST SAY IT?!!! NEVER EVER EVER HATE YOUR OWN COUNTRY BECAUSE OF HETALIA!!!!!!!!
I'M CRYING NOW! Most foolish অনুরাগী say they "don't want to be a (insert nationality.) JUST BECAUSE THEY LIKE ANOTHER CHARACTER THAT'S NOT THEIR COUNTRY! Like most American fangirls who like England say "I WANNA BE BRITISH!" JUST because they like him!!! And I'm not saying পছন্দ your own country in Hetalia. It's okay to like England even আরো than America even though you're American. Just don't wish to be someone else!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEAASSSEE be proud of your own country and don't wish to be another nationality. Your country, your people, your culture is part of WHAT MAKES আপনি UNIQUE. Where আপনি were born. Where আপনি learned. SHUT UP AND BE PROUD!!!!!!! Never wish to be someone else. আপনি will miss out on what makes আপনি special!
Tips. And sorry if I got angry back there (haha I just ranted...broke my own law, huh XD) but yeah, follow these tips and you'll be the sane one.
