I really wish Mexico was a girl, being since America and Canada are both boys. It'd be nice to have a female North American country. And besides, having another girl to Hetalia would be awesome ^^

Even though I created this poll, I believe that Mexico should be a girl. I think this because it seems to make more sense, even though some fans believe Mexico should be a boy. I don't know...it's just my opinion.

Hmm... Either gender, really, as long as he/she gets added. Mexico has only been mentioned twice in the whole series, and I'd really love to see him/her in the anime.

Mexico was Spain's Viceroy. The title sounds masculine.

I agree with Tinekraut, the name does sound masculine and I think in Hetalia archives or something like that, there was something, it states that Mexico is a boy and it also states that the creator wants him to wear a casual tie. Besides that if there was more male characters then there would be more crushes and also in my opinion there are just a bit too much female OCs, unless fem! Mexico could go into the Nyotalia version. :)
