Just this and SuFin...and since I hate FrUk, it doesn't help that my only other anime friend loves it >.<

I equally like FrUk and GerIta. Mainly because they're funny and because of their historical background.

Ugh I couldn't decide between FrUk or GerIta!
So I just chose FrUk...

I like all except FrUK. I hate FrUK! France is also tied with Prussia for my lest favorite character.

Haha, yes. Clearly, you have not been in any fandom that long. 99% of people who hate France are SUPER biased UsUk fantards. Any of the rape fanfics for him are UsUk based. All the hate art you see for him and the sick comments, all from UsUk fantards. And it's more rare to see Prussia hate, but when you do most of them are usually AusHun fantards. So yes, common sense, 90% of the people who hate characters, are biased. Think of Yuka from Elfen Lied for example.

Actually, I've been into Hetalia since late 2011, and one of the first things that happened to me was I got pulled into the USUK/FrUK war. Yes, lots of France haters are irrational and only disliking him for pairing reasons, but generalizing so that anybody who so much as /dares/ to dislike a character /must/ be from the *insert pairing here' side of the ship war just makes you look like an immature jerk.

And of course hating something makes you biased at least 90% of the time.It's only natural. However, you have to be able to see both the sides to this. Lumping together everybody who dislikes a character isn't the way to go.

Girl they group themselves up, I've been in this fandom a lot longer then you and I've seen a LOT more hate comments then you. And every France hater is just an insane UsUk fan, who reads way to many fanfics. And if they aren't, they are still insane fans who listen to those other fans. Come back when you actually have seen more of it and know what you are talking about. France haters are crazed fans, who read to many headcanon fanfics. It's the truth, don't like it, then go complain somewhere else.

Uh huh. Being in the fandom longer doesn't make you /oh so high and mighty/. And trust me, that doesn't automatically mean you've seen more hate. I've known fans of Hetalia who've loved it for quite likely longer than you and they haven't come across much fandom wars and hatred at all. Tumblr's 'FuckNo' blogs have taught me so much more about the ugly side of this fandom.

I actually know somebody who dislikes France's character who doesn't ship any single pairing in this fandom. They don't like him that much because they find his character to be bland in terms of the stereotype. They think Hima could have come up with something better than 'hits on people / country of luurve/ ect.'- as that is his most notable stereotype. Though I may not agree, I respect their opinion because there is no right or wrong. It's a damned cartoon. I know exactly what I'm talking about.

And yes, I know you can hate something and not be biased. If you actually took the time to read what I wrote /carefully/ you would have noticed "However, you have to be able to see both the sides to this" and "90% of the time".

I LOVE sufin, but FrUK is like a full on comedy show ^-^ Plus they compliment each other so.................
