I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Krysten Ritter featured in new set ছবি from Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
We’ve seen very little (i.e. nothing) in the way of official publicity material for Marvel’s second Netflix series A.K.A. Jessica Jones, but thanks to
The Daily Mail, we do have a few new set photos of Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad) as the title character…
SEE ALSO: Mike Colter talks Luke Cage and A.K.A. Jessica Jones
Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need… especially if they’re willing to cut her a check.
A.K.A. Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad) as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter (The Following) as Luke Cage, David Tennant (Doctor Who) as Kilgrave, Rachael Taylor (Transformers) as Trish Walker / Hellcat, Eka Darville (The Originals) as Malcolm, Erin Moriarty (The Kings of Summer) as Hope, Wil Traval (Red Widow) as an NYPD officer and Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) as Harper.
A.K.A. Jessica Jones should show SuperGirl a thing or two about what a female lead superhero tv show should be like.
Have you seen the leaked Super Girl episode?
Yes it was a lot better than I thought it would but I think Jessica Jones will be the show most were hoping SuperGirl would be.
I think there’s room for both. Not all superhero shows have to be bleak and depressing.
There is always room for more than one but, I’ll take Luke Cage over race change “James” Olsen any day.
It was like they turned the SNL Black Widow movie skit into reality. Watch both then laugh…then cry…
All the ideas and concepts they could have went with, and they decided to basically just copy Kal-El’s story.
(Plus, not a fan of the actress playing her, Smallville had better casting)
I was pretty excited for this series, and then Daredevil came out. Now, after seeing the tone that the Marvel shows are going for on Netflix, this is probably my most anticipated comic book property being released until Civil War. I can’t wait until we get our first trailer.
It’s refreshing to see Marvel get away from the paint-by-numbers formula they’ve depended on since IM3.
Really hoping they keep the Netflix stuff seperate from the MCU for a long time
Let Spider-Man,Captain Marvel,The Avengers,Doctor Strange and the Inhumans, fight the Super villains, aliens, demons from other dimensions and post apocalyptic warriors in big movies and have the netflix hero’s on the street level fighting for the little guy sounds good to me two sides to the same universe.
Daredevil is in Hell’s Kitchen. It is one of the worst parts of NYC. Though it isn’t the only one. But the whole story was ment to be dark. I do respect you on that it might be too dark for your kids.
My comment has nothing to do the “dark” atmosphere or lack-thereof in anyones comic book Universes but, Hells’ Kitchen is a pretty cool place to live. It is not the wreck it was in the 50s, 60s and 70s. Lots of good food. Expensive apartments ( higher rents than in MidCity-East….size-wise) and there’s the Javits’ Center (ComicCon!!!!) You could do much, much worse living in NYC then Hells’ Kitchen/Clinton/West Side) but, the developers (Kingpin) won in the real world.
