What is a famous saying অথবা phrase that has always confused you?

for me it'd probably be "I'll slap আপনি into পরবর্তি week."

I mean I understand it I just think it's stupid. If আপনি slap someone INTO পরবর্তি week then that obviously means you'd have knocked him unconscious to the point where he won't wake up till the পরবর্তি week. On the other hand if আপনি threaten to slap someone TILL পরবর্তি week, they would be far আরো compliant I'm sure.
