Remus John Lupin died on May 2nd, 1998. He was killed during the Battle of Hogwarts, he was fighting beside his wife, Nymphadora Tonks. His life was cut short, in the time when he finally found happiness, when he finally had a family.

As ব্যক্ত in the book, he can switch shapes like Tonks, so he might've inherited আরো from টঙ্কস্‌ then Lupin, so he'll be আরো on the human side during the full-moon.
I don't think he'll be a full were-wolf, he wasn't bitten, his father was. There's still a lot of human in him, especialy considering Lupin was turned আরো and আরো human during his transformation দ্বারা the company of James P, Sirius and Peter Pettigrew. I don't know if that stayed with him...
