Ryan Schwartz\'s film has its world premiere in Newport Beach tomorrow.

Ahead of its world premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival tomorrow, "Summer of 8" is debuting a new clip exclusively on Indiewire. The sun-drenched drama follows a group of teens\' last hurrah before heading their separate collegiate ways. Included in the ensemble are Carter Jenkins, Michael Grant, Matt Shively, Nick Marini, Shelley Hennig, Bailey Noble, Rachel DiPillo, Natalie Hall and Sonya Walger.

The quick, ruminate scene shows the soon-to-be collegians savoring a final day on the beach (which happens to actually be Newport Beach) while one of them narrates what they all seem to be thinking: "There\'s still so much I wish I could ask you, show you, share with you. It doesn\'t get any better than this. It\'s funny how that thought comforts me and scares the shit out of me at the same time...What\'s it gonna be like when this little adventure we\'re on takes some real twists and turns?"

"Summer of 8" is the feature debut of writer/director Ryan Schwartz, who previously made the short film "Making Love." It doesn\'t yet have distribution.
