Frank Castle\'s iconic look comes to life.
After debuting the initial teaser for the series, Netflix has released the first official image from Marvel\'s The Punisher, offering our best look yet at Frank Castle in his iconic costume.
The image below features Jon Bernthal in costume as The Punisher, wearing his bulletproof vest with a spray-painted skull, menacingly staring down the camera.
While Daredevil\'s second season featured Bernthal finally suiting up with his iconic logo in the season finale, the episode only offered brief or distant glimpses at Frank Castle. Outside of a promotional image for Daredevil\'s sophomore season, this is our best indication of how Castle will look in the upcoming Netflix series.
Following the first season of Marvel\'s The Defenders, a teaser trailer for The Punisher debuted on the streaming service and later on social networks. Check it out below.
Marvel\'s The Punisher stars John Bernthal as the titular (anti-)hero, who will appear with Daredevil\'s Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll), weapon maker Micro (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and Dinah Madani (Amber Rose Revah), a Homeland Security agent.
The show will reportedly premiere in November. IGN had a chance to see footage of the show during San Diego Comic-Con 2017.
