'Sayuuuuu~!' I hear a shout and I barely have any time to register the flash of blue and green before I'm sent crashing to the floor while my best friend hugs me. 'Riley!....R-riley...can't breathe' I manage to stutter out.After some time riley lets go and runs off to find other victims to attack. I sit down on the sofa of the orphanages main room. But this time I don't immiadlately switch on a game and start playing like I usually do, mainly because today is alot different than any other দিন of the year, to me anyway. Today is the anniversary of my parents' deaths. Yep it's been exactly 5 years since they died. Oh,before I skip straight to my story, I forgot to introduce myself didn't I?...but that isn't really nessecary since Riley did it for me, still I'm Sayu Jeevas, 16 years old. And I suppose I'm going to tell আপনি my story. Don't worry hopefully I'm not going to bore আপনি since my story is actually pretty cool...like the legend of zelda, damn I'm rambling so on to my story.
Let's start at the very beginning. I of course don't remember this part but I know from my parents (when they were alive) what happened...well I have a rough idea. When I was a baby I was found on the streets, in a alley. A social worker found me and since nobody had reported me missing I was sent to a orphanage. The people who worked there didn't know a thing about me. Not a thing. So they didn't really name me. I was literally just called may since that was the মাস they found me. No surname অথবা anything. I stayed in this orphanage until I was 1 বছর old. But I guess I was pretty advanced for a toddler. I could speak around the same amount as the 3 বছর olds there could, I could walk and read some basics. I was প্রদত্ত wierd looks দ্বারা the workers for it though. I remember that much. They weren't used to kids like me.
Anyway I was around 4 months into my first (or সেকেন্ড depending on how আপনি count it) বছর in life when a young couple were welcomed into the orphanage. One a coppery red haired man with goggles on শীর্ষ of his head, wearing a very...punk? outfit. Skinny jeans, a striped শীর্ষ and red converse. The other a what I assumed to be a very flat chested girl with blonde shoulder length hair and peircing blue eyes. 'She' was wearing fully black clothes, though I can't remember the exact outfit. But onto the story, we, all the children were taken to the living room along with the young couple. They looked pretty cool and we knew they were there to adopt, we weren't exactly stupid.Well...not all of us.
The couple sat with us and talked to us. I noticed my hair colour was pretty much the same as the punk-ish guys' hair so I sat down পরবর্তি to him, I don't know why but আপনি don't get people with the same hair colour as me so I immidiatley took a liking to the guy. I peeked over his shoulder to see what he was doing. In his hands was a handheld game. I was pretty new to these at that point but it looked awesome. The guy noticed me peeking and laughed lightly, I, surprised at this stumbled back a few steps and tripped being my toddler self, but he caught me and sat me down পরবর্তি to him. 'Y'wanna try?' He asked pointing to his handheld game.I nodded and he handed me it.In turn I gave him a small grey kitty toy I found পরবর্তি to me. My tiny hands only just reached the buttons. I figured out how it worked pretty easily and soon began playing. I looked up and he seemed impressed 'What's your name kid?' I was confused for a moment mainly because nobody had asked this প্রশ্ন before but realised and answered 'May'. Now that I think back May sounds so unfitting...But yeah. I sat between the blonde and the redhead and sat on the handheld. The blonde girl was talking to other kids, 'she' hadn't really noticed me yet but the guy was watching the little screen as I made the small character on it jump and collect some coins before running forwards and throwing a flame thing at a turtle, (Yeah I didn't know what mario was back then leave me alone. I'm a gamer now and that's all that matters)
The couple came back twice every week. The blonde finally noticed me and 'she' seemed to take a liking to me too. I was glad about that.I remember that when my সেকেন্ড birthday rolled around they bought me a small kitty teddy,a handheld and a bunch of games, they also took me out, for a meal and to the park since the orphanage didn't let them take me out for too long. but it was when I noticed the blonde was always with a bar of chocolate, always. 'She' let me try চকোলেট for the first time too. And swung me on the swings in the park. I grew overly fond of these people and got annoyed whenever one of the other kids would try to act like the couple were their parents. Luckily they didn't seem interested in the other kids. They took me out আরো often and I learned that the readhaired guy was Matt and his 'girl'friend was called Michelle...or so I thought.
The best thing happened 4 months before my 3rd birthday though. I was sat in my room, playing on another game when a social worker burst in. Nicole was her name. She was overly optimistic but her hair was so awesome! She was pretty nice. Anyway, she began bustling around my room with a bag packing my things, I glared at her ,confused. I was not moving rooms. After packing half my things she noticed me staring and laughed 'don't আপনি know? Matt and Micheal are adopting you.' My mouth opened but no words came out I just jumped off the বিছানা and hugged Nicole. I wanted to cry, from joy obviously but I was too happy. 'Well they are waiting for আপনি downstairs hon, I'll finish packing আপনি go ahead' I didn't wait for anything else but ran, into the living room, tripping on the stairs multiple times in my haste, and attacked them both in a huge hug (It was huge for me but নমস্কার I was like 2 kay XD) They were startled at first but realised that I must have known and hugged me back almost immiadiatley.
Once everything was packed we could leave, nicole gave me a hug and wished me luck. I nodded and Matt helped me into the car. As he drove I sat in the back with Michelle leaning against 'her' I fell asleep happily.
