sooo this is basically just a story that explains why Veto lives alone with his older brother, Daniel.
It will eventually get a title. but it doesnt get a prologue. im lazy
Once I figure out a শিরোনাম for a BlakexNicole story I'm writing, I'll start uploading it.(im on chapter 4 of that :d)
Oh, it also takes place when Veto is 14 and Daniel is 18.
chapter 1
Vetos POV
It was all quiet in my room, until my clock ব্যক্ত it was 7am...‘’...you got something all the girls want...’’ I rolled over, and turned my clock off. I wasn't really in the mood to listen to anything this morning. I crawled out of bed, threw my striped শার্ট on, and walked out to the kitchen. Danny was at the টেবিল eating some sort of fiber cereal, as normal. I very slowly walked over to the fridge and open the ফলমূল drawer. ‘’Where’d all the apples go?!’’ I ব্যক্ত as I moved all the oranges around multiple times. ‘’An আপেল isn't a breakfast.’’ Danny ব্যক্ত while shoving spoonful of cereal in his mouth. ‘’I always eat an আপেল for breakfast...’’ I slowly turned to him and put my hand on my hip. ‘’ আপনি ate the last one yesterday..’’ ‘’Did not! There was a bunch yesterday!’’ ‘’Maybe they ran away..’’ He ব্যক্ত while picking up a newspaper. ‘’C’mon Danny, I’m not up for this...’’ I didn’t feel like...myself today. ‘’Daniel.’’ He snapped back. ‘’Danny--’’ He got up and put his finger on my chest ‘’Call me Danny one আরো time--’’ I just pushed his finger away ‘’I need food’’ I wasn’t even that hungry... ‘’I don’t know! Eat a bagel!’’ He sat back down ‘’I don't want a bagel...’’ I sighed and walked over to the cupboards. ‘’Toast--’’ ‘’ I don’t like toast’’ Its only good with চিনাবাদাম butter, even then its still kinda gross. ‘’Cereal! I don’t care what আপনি eat! Just eat something!’’ I turned over to him and stuck my tongue out. ‘’Eat a damn orange!’’ ‘’Oranges are gross too..’’ ‘’Then why do mum and dad buy them! They don’t eat them! I don't eat them! And আপনি don’t like them all of a sudden!’’ I just stood there and looked at him. ‘’I never liked oranges, আপনি know that.’’ I just wanted to scream at him, but then dad probably ground me অথবা something. He got up and went towards the fridge. ‘’Eat your damn আপেল then!’’ He shoved an আপেল in my face. If he was trying to get me to eat something else, he did a bad job of it. I took the আপেল and set it on a plate. I started cutting it up when the phone rang. Danny ran over to the phone. ‘’Hello? … Oh Hi! --Yeah I did, but he wouldn't eat anything else--’’ When he ব্যক্ত that, he made a face at me. ‘’-- Oh! What happened?! Awww...Okay! Yeah, Yeah, Okay, We’ll see আপনি later. Bye, প্রণয় আপনি too. Okay, Bye’’ He set the phone back into the cradle. ‘’Mum and dad will be প্রথমপাতা দ্বারা the time you're out of school. Dad got sick and mum doesn’t think he's well enough to do the presentation’’ ‘’What was the presentation anyways?’’ I looked over at him, while still cutting -bad idea, I know, but I do it all the time-- ‘’Its for dads work, something about him having a new idea for a product... I don’t really remember.’’ I like it how no one tells me anything. I was about to respond, when there was a sharp pain in my finger. ‘’Veto!’’ Danny ran over to me. I looked down to find a large cut in my finger.There was blood all over the plate. Even though it hurt-- a lot, I still had to get ready for school. I looked up at the clock and it was already 7:30 am. Danny wrapped my finger up in a large band-aid and I ran off to the bathroom. I clearly wasn’t paying any attention when I was flossing, because I shoved the floss up to high, and my gums started to bleed. I started to run out to the kitchen, but I tripped over Danny's slippers. I hit my chin off of a rusty, old nail. The handle off the cupboard was starting to come off, so dad ব্যক্ত he would replace it when he came back. He took it off the দিন they left. It cut my chin. After Danny came over to me, to see if I was alright --or to laugh, not sure-- I just laid there and cried. Danny patted me on the শীর্ষ of my head, but I didn’t move. He eventually told me it was almost 8, so I got up and walked to my room. I looked down on the floor, and pushed all the clothes out of my way. I put some deodorant on and my black and purple striped hoodie. Once I finished getting changed, I was about to leave my room, when I stopped in front of my mirror and just looked at the reflection. I frowned. That large cut on my chin didn’t look great. Neither did the dried blood. I pushed my bangs away from my forehead, and my forehead was red. I slowly opened the door, still staring at the reflection. I went to the bathroom and wet a facecloth. Very slowly, I wiped at the cut. It really hurt. Danny came in and told me I’m gonna be late if I keep staring at myself. I ignored that and went to the kitchen. I put my জ্যাকেট on, put my school bag over my shoulders, and left. On my way to school, I had যেভাবে খুশী thoughts- I’m kinda lucky the school I’m at doesn’t have uniforms. It has a dress code, but I don’t think I’m gonna be wearing a miniskirt anytime soon. I also thought about my old school, the one back in England, and all of my friends. Then I thought about all of my friends, and they weren’t really my friends. They always came over to go in my pool, beg for money, take my stuff. They were using me. I thought about how well I had it over there, compared to here anyways. Ever since we moved my mom has been out more, and my dad has started to pick on me.-- Once I got to the school, all those thoughts just faded away. Then I saw Reid, I walked up to her and she looked shocked ‘’Woah! What happened!?’’ ‘’ … I fell..’’ ‘’How did আপনি cut your chin from...falling?’’ ‘’I don’t even remember...’’ I did, but I just couldn’t be bothered. Then the ঘণ্টা rang. Reid and I walked to our lockers. It feels weird when I’m at my locker and shes at hers. My locker is right below hers. I normally just stand and wait for her to finish, but today I went to mine anyways. I took my জ্যাকেট off and Reid looked down at me. ‘’New sweater?’’ I looked down at my hoodie- ‘’No, its pretty old. I wore it the other দিন too....’’ ‘’Oh! I guess I wasn’t paying any attention...’’ ‘’Guess not.’’ I normally don’t make a response like that. I just couldn’t put my finger on it, but I just felt ...weird. Like something was going to happen, even though a few things already did. Something worse. Maybe I was gonna up the stairs-- I never fell down the stairs before, only ever up-- অথবা something. I walked up the stairs to homeroom, very carefully. Once I got up the stairs, I just shrugged and walked into class. I got my book for silent পাঠ করা and sat down. I heard Toby yell out nice chin অথবা something, but a teacher told him to get to class. I just read until the announcement came on saying to stand up for O Canada. It still feels weird standing for another country's national anthem, but I should get used to it. Mum told us we weren’t going to সরানো anymore. We can’t afford it.
