LOL which is kind of sad considering this is the first night I had to go without Betty!!!!
But seriously I miss it already, I am going to rewatch some of my favorite Season 3 episodes so far while they are gone and hope that I can make it through! (lol I'm being sligtly dramatic but still you get it!)

i am also going to rewatch some of my favourites as well for the time being on the internet. it just sucks that this season has been put on hold, all because ABC wants to show samantha who in its place. season 2 had a long break a year ago because of the writers strike, which led to a shorter season (18 episodes instead of the usual 23/24). and so for ugly betty to have yet another long break, after what happened with the last season, is just frankly absurd.

I'm not sure. I survived writer's strike nov07-jan2008 the feb-april 08 HUGE break and the fact that we had to deal with a short season 2. This season cannot compare last season in terms of my excitement or expectation for new episodes. So i am pretty sure I'll survive.
Besides. I was programming myself for the show to return june-july. Wait for a month is nothing, really. But I agree this is an awful decision. We know they had plenty of time in advance to start filming so this is ridiculous why they keep fans waiting... for what really? this season has not cliffhanger where to "hang" on to.

what ABC should have done is to show all the remaining season 3 episodes and let it finish its season, then show 'samantha who' afterwards. i know that for some of you out there, you might think that just because us fans are outside the US, the scheduling might not bother us as much yourselves but it does because i watch season 3 online, and whilst it gets shown on thursday nights in the US, i only get to watch it a few days later when someone has posted the episodes on various websites online. in fact, that is the only way i watch season 3 because in the UK, it still hasn't been shown on tv- and yet i for one refuse to wait until say the summer or autumn of this year for channel 4 to show the third season.

I't the first day but i miss it already :( But i am going to watch season 3 from the begining and listen to all the podcasts again.
I'll have to get my Daniel fix from the rewatches :(.

in a way though, when you think about it by rewatching your favourites, it isn't a bad idea at all. i enjoy watching my favourite episodes from season 3, especially as a) it will be a long while until channel 4 shows it and b) it will be an even longer while yet until it comes out on dvd here in the uk. and so until then, i could always rely on websites such as show-links for my ugly betty fix.

plus, it should keep me busy until season 3 resumes in 2 months time.

LOL this is true, I don't know why but after finding out that 'In the Motherhood' isn't even doing that well (DUH, ABC I could have told you that!) it makes me relieved of course but also mad, I mean seriously did they think THAT was going to do better than Ugly Betty...they baffle me!

i am just assuming here but they were probably experimenting to see whether or not that 'in the motherhood' show was a good replacement for ugly betty. which it probably isn't and yet they could've showed it after when this third season of UB finishes. plain and simple, and yet they decided it had to come in the way of UB. how wrong they were. perhaps ABC should listen to the UB fans first before they even think about messing around with the show's schedules.

well may 5 is now one month away until season 3 resumes, but it feels like an awful long wait for most of us. but yeah, as i type this, we have something like 4 weeks left of in the motherhood and samantha who on thursdays now.
