I'm too self-conscious to exercise?

I really want to start exercising and getting আরো active. But I'm too self-conscious to do that. I've tried in-home workouts but it doesn't feel like they do anything. I want to start running, but I'm too embarrassed to run around my neighborhood (there's lots of busy streets and people). And I don't own a treadmill.

How do I get over my self-consciousness so I can start exercising? (I've heard wearing sunglasses makes it better, but that just makes me আরো self-conscious. I hate how I look in sunglasses)

But if that doesn't appeal to you, i know this may sound wierd, but have আপনি ever thought about running up and down your stairs? When you're cooking অথবা washing dishes why not stretch your limbs, jog on the spot, do breathing excersises to push up your cardiovascular muscles?
When you're sat watching TV, why not get on the floor, put your toes under your chair অথবা sofa and do body crunches? There are so many ways to lose wieght in the প্রথমপাতা using your own furniture :)

আপনি can even get your kids involved and make it into a game. My son loves sitting on my feet when i do body crunches and it's improved his counting too.

Also cleaning is good excersise. Pick a দিন when আপনি have nothing to do, get the kids to school and start cleaning the house, vigorously, আপনি get a clean প্রথমপাতা and loose around 2 pounds each week if আপনি do it 2-3 times a week.
