I have a phobia of driving. Advice?

I know I'm pathetic for this, but I'm a sixteen বছর old who doesn't even have her learners yet. It's just... I'm afraid to drive, 'cause I don't want to be the reason for someone's death অথবা being paralyzed. And I know I'm gonna be the worst driver ever, and I don't want to wreck and die অথবা be paralyzed. But then I see other teenagers driving around and I feel embarrassed because I have my parents driving me around everywhere.

How can I get over my fear? :\

First off, don't sweat being driven around দ্বারা your parents. Feel like royalty! The other teens have to pay attention to the road, and the most work আপনি have to do is listen to your parents talk. Secondly, don't be afraid of someone else's death, your own, অথবা being paralyzed. Just pay attention to the road and drive confidentially! The likelihood of আপনি hitting someone অথবা something are very slim as long as আপনি are confident and vigilent. Pay attention, and you'll be fine. Try some breathing exercises if that would help. I'm 16, and I don't have my permit either. I'm just too lazy to get it. Just keep calm and flutter on.

Don't be scared, consider yourself lucky and not pathetic!
I'm apparently not allowed to drive because of my medical condition, so imagine how I feel when everyone else is driving and I'm not even allowed to try!
Not everyone drives, so it won't be a HUGE life change but if আপনি are going to do your driving test অথবা whatever, just think, if আপনি are as আপনি say "the worst driver ever" do আপনি think they would pass you? Most likely not.
There is no hurry as you're only 16, it's not a race to see who will learn to drive first, just take your time and learn and practise as much as আপনি can until আপনি get some confidence with driving, then when আপনি think you're ready, take the test, it may take a few months অথবা maybe years, but as আপনি gain আরো confidence, your fear will disappear (hopefully), and with that confidence and practise, you'll be আরো careful on the road, and are much less likely to be in a crash.

If you're really that scared of driving, don't for now.
I hope this helps anyway. =)

First off i'm 24 with a child of my own...and i don't drive.
I took my first driving lesson when i 16, and the 3rd lesson i had, a child ran into the road, forcing me to slam the brakes on (emergency stop) and even though he was fine i was so shaken up, i have never been behind the wheel since.
I regret it.
My life would be so much easier if i had wheels of my own, i wouldn't have to walk everywhere dragging a grumbling/screaming/pouty child after me everywhere, having to carry the child, shopping etc all the way প্রথমপাতা on foot. Save money on travel expenses etc. Have to worry about luggage.
Driving is a scary experience and it takes a lot of guts, but i say go for it. A piece of উপদেশ প্রদত্ত to me দ্বারা my granddad "treat everyone but আপনি as an idiot, be extra vigilant, the cars, pedestrians, even the road, as morons. If আপনি do things right and দ্বারা the book, আপনি will be fine"
