The EH101 Merlin heavy lift helicopter touched down harder than I was accustomed to, but that was just fine with me. If nothing was broken, I didn't give a shit. If it was, Trudy could bill me.
I carried my baby girl Scar into the house, pausing at the door. I wasn't sure why... Maybe it had something to do with Scar and the fact that she had been taken from there... Certainly, I was going to be installing আরো sophisticated security measures, but, as for Scar, I didn't know what she was planning to do.

A soft rap on the door sent every নেকড়ে in the room instantly on edge. I waved them down and glanced through the peep hole. Standing there was my help.
