Inside Emma’s House:
Emma pulled Ryan to her Room, and wasting no time, they started working on their Biology Project - On the Nervous System.
Ryan placed two Sheets of Paper and his Paint Kit, from his bag, on the Coffee Table.
“You Paint one corner and I’ll Paint the other!” He suggested.
“Sure, will do!” Emma said, grabbing a Paint brush and dipping its Thin Hairs into the Black Paint.
She stroked lightly on her Paper with the Brush.
Emma was pretty talented and creative when it came to Art and Music. Ryan was always impressed to see her Awesome Drawings and Pictures, even as Kids.
In Middle School, they used to hang around and stick together… আপনি know, like Best Buddies! Emma even helped Ryan with his Art Skills.
But getting in High School was sort of difficult. They barely see each other. Emma hangs out with the Cheerleaders now, and Ryan spends his time with the Football Jocks.
That’s right, they don’t get to hang out like the old days anymore, for the Cliques they're in… until now!
However, they are still Good Friends.
“What?” Emma asked, giggling to find Ryan gazing dreamily at her Painting.
“Nothing. It’s just that… you’ve improved!” He chuckled.
“And আপনি didn’t?” Emma asked teasingly, poking him on the Flipper.
“Nah! Too busy with the Guys these days!” He ব্যক্ত with a sigh, “But I do have to say that…” He paused, pointing his Flipper on Emma’s Paper.
“What is it?” Emma looked down at her Painting, trying to find what was wrong with it.
“It’s a Horse-face!” Ryan joked, still pointing at her Picture.
Emma could see the Black Stroke lines smeared slightly on her Paper. She attempted to draw Neurons, not Horse-faces!
“Oh, shut up!” Emma smiled, poking Ryan on the Flipper again.
Ryan just laughed.
He always knew how to make her Laugh দ্বারা cracking the Silliest Jokes.
Emma got back to Painting her Picture, but the thought of something kept bothering her the whole time.
And Ryan could sense that, too.
“Come on, I was just kidding! I really like your Mad Art Skills!” Ryan said, trying to cheer his Friend up.
“No, it’s not it!” Emma replied sadly, “I was thinking… Yesterday… I realized something with Tressa in our Bio Class.”
“What about her?” Ryan asked curiously.
“Well, it’s about her and Kowalski together…” Emma stated firmly.
“Hm… Good for her!” Ryan replied with a smile.
Emma thought for a moment.
“I guess that’s the trouble! Is it REALLY Good for her?” Emma wondered, “I mean she’s my Friend and I-“
“Whoa, whoa, whoa! So what you’re saying is… আপনি like that Kowalski Guy, don’t you?” Ryan asked curiously, his smile fading. He could see where Emma was getting at. He realized what was up.
Emma didn’t say anything but nodded her head.
She had a Crush on Kowalski for a long time, but seeing her friend Tressa with him made her feel slightly jealous. Even though she was a Cheerleader, she wasn’t the type to ruin her Friendships with anyone just for something small and stupid. But wait! Kowalski wasn’t stupid.
Ryan, too, felt somewhat awkward on hearing about this.
“What am I to do now? Should I keep my Friendship with Tressa and avoid Kowalski… অথবা should I be with Kowalski?” Emma asked with guilt in her voice, turning to her Best Friend for help.
Ryan usually helped Emma get rid of her problems, but this time, however, he felt very strange. Like, he couldn’t utter anything out of his Beak.
“Um… I think আপনি should go with the First choice!” He reasoned.
“You mean… I should just forget about him?” Emma asked.
“I guess… I know আপনি value your Friendship with Tressa… So, if আপনি want to find the right answer, listen to your inner voice.” Ryan pointed out.
Emma thought deeply for a while.
‘Ryan's got a point! Tressa and I have bonded as বন্ধু and Teammates last Week. I know she’s proved to all of us she’ll be an Excellent Cheerleader. Should I throw away those precious days in the dirt, দ্বারা doing something stupid? That’ll be just plain wrong! অথবা should I help her gain Kowalski’s attention instead?’ Emma thought. Then, she realized what her Inner Voice wanted her to do. The right thing!
“Thanks, Ryan! You’re the best!” She said, hugging Ryan thankfully.
“Hey! Hey! No prob! Happy to help!” Ryan replied, faking a smile, “Whoops! Let’s get back to work!”
“Geez, sorry for all the distraction!” Emma said, getting back to Painting.
“It’s fine!” Ryan said, smiling.
At Amber’s House:
Meanwhile, Amber spent her time, chatting with Antonio on DatesSafe.com. Yup! The Site was quite Addicting.
CarlosDeAmico: Have আপনি decided whom you’ll be going with to the Dance, bella? :)
AmberLuv: My name isn't Bella, it's Amber!
CarlosDeAmico: I know that. ‘Bella’ is ‘Beautiful’ in Spanish.
‘Oh, crud! How could I forget that?’ Amber felt embarrassed. Blood rushed to her cheeks when she read the word ‘Beautiful’.
