Was Cordy sleeping with Connor part of the original plan for season 4?

In season 4, was Cordy sleeping with Connor only written as a means of fitting in Charisma Carpenter's real-life pregnancy? They couldn't make her current প্রণয় interest অ্যাঞ্জেল the father as would normally be done, since he's infertile and they'd already done a miracle child story for him, and they'd also already done a one-episode phantom pregnancy story for Cordy. অথবা was the Cordy/Connor pairing already planned, as a way of indicating to the audience that she was evil/possessed? They'd already hinted at Connor's interest in her, sort of foreshadowing the pairing, and I think those parts would have been written before they knew about Charisma Carpenter's pregnancy.
