No way, it definatly wasn't easy for her. It took all season and her bending getting taken away. Korra did not have it easy

I don't think she has complete control over the avatar state. I think she's gained access to the avatar state, but she's going to have to work on refining and controlling it next season,.

It's still a mystery to me as to how she was able to control the Avatar state better than a monk who had problems whenever he entered it the first times. I think this is one of the things which Bryke had to nicely wrap up with a bow. I have the same opinion with Korra getting her bending back and the ability to energy bend, by the way. And I still to get this talk about "hitting your lowest point". Didn't Aang hit his lowest point when Azula's lightning struck him? Never mind.

What stuck out to me the most was, Aang had to master 7 chakras in order to control the Avatar State, and Korra had it handed to her. I'm not saying Korra didn't have to struggle, but it was a weak way to gain such power.

In the second season, it has been shown that she can control the Avatar State as well- like cheating in a game of Air Scooter for example. But I think, since Bryke planned on it being only 1 season and now have to make more, they were just working with what they had.
