ALBR: Did আপনি met Avril Lavigne before? How did they approach আপনি for the role in "What the Hell" সঙ্গীত video?
SPENCER: i had never met avril before the shoot but we have a lot of বন্ধু in common. i was pleased to find out that she is an absolute sweetheart and we had a great time filming for a few days.

as is the case with most অভিনয় jobs, i had an audition for the video and received a call the night before the video started shooting from my agent letting me know they were interested in using me. it was a little unusual that the পরবর্তি morning i had still not heard whether they were going to book me on the job অথবা not but i got a call saying that avril would like to meet me at the location they were shooting that day. they had narrowed it down to a handful of guys and were leaving the final decision up to her so i went to set, met avril and she ended up liking me the best i guess!


ALBR: It was a 3 দিন video shoot, right? Tell us a bit আরো about the shooting process. Was it fun, boring, tiring, easy to do, hard to do?
SPENCER: after they decided i was gonna be the guy for the vid, i went straight to wardrobe and we were filming directly after that. we had 3 15 ঘন্টা + days, as is the case with alot of সঙ্গীত চলচ্ছবি but the crew was awesome and the time passed pretty quickly. knowing the song was super catchy and would be seen দ্বারা alot of people made the work exciting and fun and also knowing that she is one of the first artist's to have a 3D video out made it special too.


ALBR: For you, what was the most fun scene on the সঙ্গীত video and why?
SPENCER: my most fun দিন of the shoot was definitely the দিন i was on the bike chasing after the cab. they had called a stunt guy, my friend jeff barnett, in to possibly do the bike stuff but it turned out it was pretty easy and not too dangerous so i got to do all my own stuff. having a few blocks of রাস্তা blocked off while shooting a scene is always fun no matter what it is. to see all the production that goes into those car shots gives আপনি a new appreciation for things like that.


ALBR: Do আপনি have any exciting, funny অথবা embarrassing moments from set that আপনি can share with us?
SPENCER: anytime আপনি have to act like you're "making out" অথবা being intimate with someone in front of a camera/crew can be a little nerve wracking and that was what we were doing for most of the first দিন after we had just met so that had the potential to be a little awkward, but we hit it off pretty well and we were both pretty comfortable and having some laughs in between takes so it went great. like i ব্যক্ত she is such a doll and just really energetic and fun to be around.


ALBR: If this video was like a real life experience for you, how would আপনি react if your girlfriend locked আপনি in a walk-in closet and left the house with আপনি locked in there? Would আপনি be chasing her afterwards? (laughs)
SPENCER: i can't say i have ever been locked in a closet yet. i'm sure there have been several of my girlfriends who would've liked to do that to me though!! i can't say whether i would chase after someone if they did that do me অথবা not? i guess it would depend on the situation. i am a little bit of a slob so i might just stay in there and organize my clothes! haha


ALBR: Have আপনি ever been in a সঙ্গীত video before? Is it something আপনি would like to do more?
SPENCER: i have come close to being cast in সঙ্গীত vids before but this was the first one i was chosen for. i knew it was going to be long days, but that's the case with most productions no matter what they are for. seeing the end product is always the light at the end of the tunnel and i was pleased to see the end result!


ALBR: Can আপনি tell us a bit আরো about your পরবর্তি career projects? What's the পরবর্তি সরানো for you?
SPENCER: right now i am just auditioning all the time for tv and চলচ্চিত্র and hoping 2011 is my best বছর yet!


ALBR: Did আপনি ever visited Brazil? What's the first word that pops on your head when আপনি hear the word Brazil?
SPENCER: i have thought about visiting brazil on vacation several times but haven't been able to get down there yet. i guess the first thing that pops into my mind when i hear brazil is beautiful women, beautiful beaches and great times! i hope to get down there sometime soon and see for myself!
