In a way yes because of all the biasness that goes into some of the fans voting when it comes to the position players..not that but they should at least have a say in it because they are managing the team and the managers do know the players best (and by manager I mean the All Star Games' NL and AL Manager) I think it might be a little more fair..but then again who knows..so overall I'm torn on the situation.

As long as the All Star game is the deciding factor for who has world series home field advantage I think it should be more than just a popularity contest. If it's really just for fun then the fans should decide!
