Blair & Chuck Article: Trying to understand Blair!

I was really pissed at Blair but then i remembered why i প্রণয় her character and i tried to understand why she is behaving this way right now.

I think that she made so many mistakes and got hurt and now she is afraid to be with Chuck because she knows that he is the only one who can emotionally hurt her.What i mean is that when আপনি প্রণয় someone আপনি know that আপনি can only be hurt from that person because is the only one who really matters to you.She is afraid to go back to Chuck because of that(like Serena told her the দিন of her wedding). She goes to Dan because she knows that he can’t hurt her because she doesn’t really প্রণয় him the way she loves Chuck, but she’s trying to persuade herself that she does.She sees on Dan another escape from her fears and her real feelings like she did with God etc.The reason she keeps saying to Chuck to wait for her is because she knows that she wants him but she’s still afraid to admitted it.Remember when she ব্যক্ত in the limo scene that she loves only him and he is the only one she never wants to leave?That Blair was still powerful and wasn’t afraid to be with Chuck but then the accident happed,the হারিয়ে গেছে of her baby,a loveless marriage,so many mistakes that made her lose her power. She needs some time to feel powerful,start finding herself again & rethink her actions!
I know that her behavior to Serena is horrible and she is very selfish right now but if আপনি think all the things that happened in her life in such a small period আপনি may try to understand her and forgive her.

Remember all the mistakes Chuck did in the past when for example he ব্যক্ত to Raina that she is something sacred to him অথবা that Eva is the only person he cared about? I was really pissed at him too but i tried to understand him and i forgave him.

Blair of season 5 somehow is Chuck of the previews seasons.
He was immature and she was mature and now is happening the opposite.
This is the last step of them being EQUAL! When she will realize what she did wrong she will try to fix it and then they will be perfect for each other.Both mature and ready to start a life together.
I know that when they get together it will be forever,no আরো break ups.And this is the reason i think they make them look so “miserable” right now,there is a reason why they portrait Chuck so sad in every episode.

ratava123 Yeah, what you say does make some sense. But the REAL Blair would have NEVER EVER EVER EVER done anything with Dan.

Tigerlily888 Bravo! :) Great article, you really dug deep to understand her and made perfect sense! I remember Rufus said to Lily she was scared of getting married to him because she loved him so much and unlike all the other guys she'd been with, he was the one that could break her heart-well it's the same with Blair, after the accident-everything has just got so messed up for her and she is confused, I can see that and she doesn't want to get hurt again like she can get hurt with Chuck, the tragic thing is her saying goodbye to him again just hurts them both even more! I'm still slightly confused/angry/annoyed/disapproving of her picking ANOTHER guy over him but we all know that she can never love Dan as much as she loves Blair and I still strongly believe Chair are endgame and are meant to be. When Chuck gets hurt he tries to distance himself from everyone who loves him and to make sure they stay away, hurt them like he hurt Blair in season 1 by saying he didn't want her anymore....I think it's the same now, Blair is scared and I think confused between friendship and love. Dan has always been there for her at every turn and somehow she's come to believe she loves him and in some ways she will probably always love him, just like she loves Nate BUT she seriously does have to get past this and get back to Chuck <3 THANKS for your amazing article-it's been an eye opener!
