dude, why is twilight winning, lord of the rings is totally the best!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! twilight is slowly ensnaring every ones minds to make them like it!! but i will never like it.

I really like the Artemis fowl series and harry potter series and bartimeaus trilogy, but i have to say, the lord of the rings is the best. no doubt about it.

Eh, you're right, but still I think books about wizards and vampires will stay in everyone's minds for a long while. Plus they appeal to a younger audience and the young people are the next generation so they'll not be forgotten. I mean seriously watch your "South Park".

I don't understand why Twilight has to be in every question. Honestly how can something like Twilight be compared with Lord of the Rings? How can anyone say that Meyer is a better author than Tolkien? I've heard some Twilight fans say that Twilight is better because it's written in a simpler language and they can understand it. WTF? Honestly when a book is difficult to understand it means it's better. Simple books are not all that good. And the fact that they say that they can't read difficult books means that the Twilight fans are all lacking intelligence. But the main reason Twilight fans like Twilight is because Edward is hot. Seriously? Is that a good reason to like a series? I've read The Vampire Diaries and I love one of the main characters, Damon not only because he's gorgeous but because of his deep personallity. Twilight is a copycat of The Vampire Diaries with the difference that VD is awesome and Twilight is a piece of shit. Meyer stole Smith's idea and completely ruined it!
