Gibbs.She always took an interrested in his personal life-she never acted that way to Tony,and was always a woman ,when she was with him-with Tony she acted a lot like a little girl.With Ari I always thought it's something like a Stockholm Syndrome,althought they really had a chemestry.

Watch "Bette Noire" and "revielle"-they had an amazing atraction.Ari was different in "Bête Noire" and "Reveille".He is just lke Gibbs in a very distort mirror-lke Kate said"bold,intellignt,willing to take big risks".Ari in S1 will never killed Kate-when I read who killed her,I couldn't believe at first.The fact exactly Ari killed Kate didn't feel right for me,just like his explanation for Gibbs"I did that to cose you pain" to be very...lame and so unrealistic for his character.When I see the chemestry between them in "Bete Noire"and when I remembered how Ari took care of Kate in "Reveille",i simply don't see any reason for Ari to kill Kate-especially considering the fact Ari had a soft spot for Ziva,which means he has a heart.Just the all thing doesn't ...seems right for me.

If Ari wanted cose pain to Gibbs, he could killed Tony or McGee. But he killed Kate because it wasn't chemistry between them.

The atraction doesn't mean only tesing and talking about sex.Kate/Ari had interesting interaction:

If she didn't felt anything,then why she didn't stabed him?There was not ony hartred between them-she thinks he has "kind eyes",remember("I was looking into his eyes and they looked kind.")?Their scenes were hot and intense-don't you know the tiny line between the hate and love?In Kate's case it was mostly a Stockholm Syndrome,but there WAS an atraction-just look at them

For me the fact that Ari killed Kate was "out of the character"thing-DPB just needed a person who will kill Kate and because Ari was the most attractive bad guy,he was chosen to kill her.

She always teased MCGee and Tony like a big sister-and she never took Tony's advances.I admit-there was a chemestry between Kate and Ari,but I loved her chemestry with Gibbs more!Their chemestry made me a fan of the show!

Kate had a chemestry with Gibbs since the very first episode!She was always interested more in his personal life than in Tony's or McGee's.They had the best eye!sex scenes in the show!

It's true, Gibbs did seem to flirt with her in "Yankee White" but i dont think they ever had a real chemistry...atleast not romanticly. But her and ari...i think she had a thing for him. And he had a thing for her. But i still think she and tony were good together =]

Remember the loooong looks,the tension between them-I think Kate and Gibbs scenes was far way from platonic-in Yankee White,Marine Down,Hung Out To Dry,Black Water,Reviele.... I don't think Gibbs feelings toward Kate were anything close to fatherly. After all, she's definitely a strong-willed woman,something I imagine all his women have been..Both Kate and Gibbs were understandably wary of coworker relationships Gibbs had his problems with Jen/his partner and ex-lover/; Kate had her thing with Major Kerry/her college and lover/. Neither was about to make a move, especially within only two years of knowing one another.I also think Gibbs after three divorces would know when to compromise and his personality is more similar to Kate's than Tony's is and Gibbs and Kate are more serious although they both have a softer side.

olly19 ,romantic chemestry doesn't mean only talking and teasing about sex(at last from my POV),like it was in Tony/Kate case.That means looooong looks,tension,awkwardness,when the other is around,silence,full with unspoken words-everything that exist in Kate/Gibbs relationship.They had a real romantic chemestry on the screen.

I've changed my mind about them. I prefer Kari to the others. I can still see why people might choose Gibbs. But I prefer Tiva and Jibbs.

Cared-yes-loved-no.Kate was not interested in Tony like a lover,and I think that is important. They don't have these intense moments which she had with Ari and Gibbs.

I'm a big Tate fan and I'm sure if Kate didn't die, they would be great copule. Between Kate and Tony were perfect relationship. Now, I like Tiva, but I still ADORE Tate. Kibbs or Kari? Maybe, but... Not for me.

Don't get me wrong. I love Ziva and I love Tiva to death. Tony and Ziva have wonderful chemistry, but I actually think that Tony and Kate's was better. I think Tony and Kate's chemistry rivaled that of, for instance, Brennan and Booth.

As far as Kate and Gibbs go, when I watched the pilot, I thought I could ship them, because that the beginning of the show, that relationship was explored, but the longer you watch, the more Tony and Kate's relationship starts to stand out as a potential romance. I could be totally off base here, but I think in the first few episodes of season one the writers were exploring the idea of Kate and Gibbs as the "golden couple," and then, several episodes in, decided it wasn't working for them and started developing Kate's relationship with Tony instead. This was, of course, before anyone knew Kate would leave and Tony and Ziva would become THE couple.

she was really sweet with gibbs. i liked jibbs better but if i had to choose somoene for kate i think it would be gibbs. i mean, they had an interesting relationship. gibbs always took care of her. like in twilight (i think) when kate was sleeping behind her desk and gibbs went over and put a jacket on her so she wouldn't be cold. he never did that for anyone else. he was also really strongly affected by her death. he was out for blood and revenge and thorughout the whole thing it was sooooo obvious that he cared which he usually doesn't show.

Gibbs let himself to open up to Kate-for a guarded man like Gibbs this cleary shows interest. And Kate's curiosity about his personal life-I don't see anyone to get away with his questions about him and his personal life,but Kate did! Althought Kate knows Gibbs doesn't like questions/remarks about his marriages,she always mock him about that.Gibbs,althought he knows (considering YW) his remarks and acts can be seen like sexual harassment he stays a little too close to her than necessary and sometimes can't help himself and answer with playful remarks-like in "My Other Left Foot" and "Sub Rosa".:) Tony was too unmature for Kate- the atraction means something more than kidding about sex,like in their case. I really didn't like Kaye in S2- she acted more like a girl instead like a woman. She became more weak character than in the first season.

Kate had 3 older brothers- she definitely teated Tony like a brother than like a lover.He was interested in her-but she never took his advances,and that means she was never interested in him like a lover. Kate is NOT Brennan - it's evident especially in the first season.

Gibbs definitely.Tony may had hots for Kate, but Kate never had hots for Tony and he knew that-he said i in "Twiligh"-"Me and Kate?! Never happened. She is too smart fior that." Ari was too dark for Kate from my POV.

Gibbs. He simply is the right man for Kate.
