I have many beloved children's classics that I treasured as a child (Rose White & Rose Red...) & grew up to still hold dear.The Snow Queen seems to be among the more obscure, though I recall the cartoon version and have not liked remakes. She does remind one of Chronicles of Narnia, [The Snow Queen]. I recall the shard of ice that lodged in the little boys heart and tore him from the little girl that was his closest friend... (I loved this story.)
