On January the 2nd in 2011 some family came to visit, bringing along a hard drive with many series and চলচ্চিত্র on it. Among the series, there was one labeled "The Vampire Diaries". It stuck out to me for 2 reasons.
Firstly because I had heard my two best বন্ধু talking about how hot 'Damon' from 'The Vampire Diaries' was.
Secondly because I had become obsessed with Twilight for a while before that and I loved anything with ভ্যাম্পায়ার in it.
I settled down at the TV with 10 episodes for 6 hours of happiness.
As I have ব্যক্ত before, I liked Stefan, a lot. I loved when he was with Elena and when he would save her every time...until Episode 11 Season 1. When Damon pulled Elena out of the wreckage and carried her away. When he reassured her in Let the Right One In, in the rain. He was the one that was there to dance with her in Miss Mystic Falls.
And if আপনি look at them dancing in this scene and আপনি look at Episode 4 Season 2. When Katherine is dancing with Stefan, I saw it as 'Elena is Damon's turn to truly be happy.' So to me, This time its Damon's turn to be happy and loved.
I think a very overlooked part is in Episode 4 Season 2 when Damon takes the অনুষ্ঠান- অ্যারো in the back so that Elena isn't killed. It's just sort of forgotten.
Did আপনি see the look in Damon's eyes in Season 2 Episode 8 when Elena was running down the stairs and she nearly hugged him but then Stefan stepped in front of him?
I think in this scene we see a bit আরো of the jerk side of Stefan. He acted so selfish in this part, but he's also been selfish the whole time. He always stepped in the way of the things that made his brother happy. Katherine, Elena, everything. And he's taken it for granted as if it was just প্রদত্ত that he was there and nothing could help it and this has always made me incredibly mad.
When Damon goes to Elena's room to tell her that he loves her, we see how true and pure his প্রণয় for her is. Stefan and Elena have a very school/high school relationship that even when I loved Stefan never felt very real to me. I do not believe that they are soul mates because they have nothing in common. Stefan may think that he went through a hard time but he has always been loved দ্বারা anyone that he loved, Damon however has never been loved properly because no one apart from Elena has ever tried to understand him.
In Episode 10 Season 2 when Damon goes to the apartment loft where Elena and Rose are to save Elena, he was the one to stand in front of her, willing to give up his life to save her.
The dance scene between Elena and Damon during Season 2 Episode 18 was আরো intense than any dance between Stefan and Elena. Like at the '50s dance when Stefan showed Elena how they danced then, he didn't even want to প্রদর্শনী her, yet Damon was happy to প্রদর্শনী her what the dancing from the '60s was like.
Did anyone else notice that in Season 2 Episode 21 at the funeral, when Elena looked up at Damon, he was in front of the same statue that he first watched Elena from in Season 1 Episode 1. Since Season 1 Ep 1 was the beginning, I like to think of this scene as the beginning of them.
In the finale of Season 2, when Elena is lying on the বিছানা with Damon she says 'I like আপনি now, just the way আপনি are.' Which means that she didn't want him to change.
