Damon jumped to another বৃক্ষ but the branch was already broken and he fell down. When he hit the ground his rib cage got broken and his arm born broke in two. Since damon hasn't had any blood he was weak and didn't feel his অস্থি recovering.

Elena walked in the woods to look for damon's ring. She checked her phone and saw it was 1:37. She sat down under a tree. Elena looked around and saw a trailing of blood on the ground. She got up and followed the blood to see where it lead.
