He's willing to sacrifice other people just to solve another puzzle and catch Kira. Everyone only looks at the evil aspects of Light. It's so stupid how much people love L.
No! Light's horrible! And, Avatar, it is not stupid how much people love L, cause he's awesome. I guess I haven't really watched enough to see if L's "evil" or not, 'cause I've only seen two episodes, but he seems good.
Sniff sniff... BeB, you are making me sad, but I see what you mean and I agree! And, yeah! Go DebGulledge! I know I do kind of hate on people for liking Light, Avatar, but seeing how you've not been making me feel great for being an L fangirl (but you haven't killed my spirit yet! Go L!), I'm definetly not going to question peoples opinions like that anymore. And I'm simply saying its not stupid how people love L. You like Light (I think...). We all have different opinions. But L isn't evil. BeB has explained that for me, thank you.
One more for now before I stop necro'ing about fifty thousand different question strings on this website (oh, but it's so fun).
L = NOT entirely good, at all. You all are forgetting the post-series one-shot set after the manga where L is talking to the orphans at Wammy's House and shatters their faith in him by revealing that he only peruses criminals because it's "interesting" for him, saying it's a hobby and he only chooses cases that are harder and that interest him, not in the way of chasing justice. Sorry fangirls.
Again, good and bad is completely relative. Some people will look at Light and say that he's justice and that his morals are more right. Others will look at L and say that he is completely right. Others still will look at Near and say that he's completely right because he wouldn't have sacrificed Lind L. Tailor. It's actually surprising how people can differ so much on morality.
but i didn't notice the evil in light also... they both found an objective e stand for it untill the very end, kill some people? meh needed. work with criminals? at the least we know he can do anything to solve a case.
But that aside, People have this thing were they say L vs Light is good versus evil and I can't believe that's true.
Some of the things L did isn't all that pure, so there's no way there's good and evil.
Although L is not as sinister as Light, he is no saint.
And truthfully, if he was, he would have never gotten as far as he did. Light's 'opponent' HAD to be cut throat...because HE is.....
L likely did that to avoid something like A committing suicide because of the pressure happening again by assuring them that they won't just be a failed L and they can pursue their own interests as they don't have an obligation to become L.
But L definitely has a dark side as he agreed to the whole confinement as well as the test that had a father point a gun at his son and pull the trigger even if it was just a test that would be psychologically scarring.
