Seriously is this war ever going to end...?

It's not surprising, though I think it's somewhat problematic to view it through the lens of Israeli aggression alone. Realize that, first and foremost, this isn't a war. It's been characterized as a war, but in reality, there's never been full on conflict between the two sides. Israel has it's hands regularly tied by the international community, as well it should, while the Palestinians have generally been treated solely as victims, mainly because insurgent Palestinians are regarded as non-state actors (which is partially true). The conflict for the most part has involved a minority Palestinians trying to recover a larger portion of their land than has been offered in negotiations. This group has proceeded to utilize tactics that make Israelis uncertain of the safety of their daily lives, and it's been going on for decades. Bad things like this will happen as a result. Israelis are being stressed to the breaking point, hence the highly conservative government, and their response has led Palestinians to electing Hamas, their most extreme group, to their leadership. It's a cycle of violence perpetuated by both sides.
