It kinda annoied me, but not really. The Tamers had a whole new start! A whole new page, unlike the Adventures 02 who had to live up to the origional Adventures. Besides, Seson 3 is my favorite seson!

making a "real world" in season 3 / tamers where digimon is a real franchise, the darker atmosphere, the new digivices and cards made it the best one ever, but then later seasons were bad

I only saw seasons 1 and 2 because they were my favorites. I've only seen one episode of the other seasons. They are never as good and the first two.

they never really implied that what i think it is is that the first two seasons happened before and TKs book(s) got adapted into the game and show. seasons 1-2 probably happened a little while before takatos dad was born or just after so he would not know about it and by the time tk fully grew up and wrote the book Takatos dad was an adult.
