John Smith is so hot and romantic! Even in the ending, he invited Pocahontas to join him, and when she refused, he insisted to stay with her.

It was Pocahontas who did not want to go with him, saying, "I'm needed here," though her father let her go. I don't like her for that.

Smith isn't so childish and he'd do really everything for Pocahontas. And she left the captain the most difficult moment. He wouldn't treat her like that. If it'd be the opposite, and it'd be Pocahontas who would have to go back home, he would go with her no matter what.

I love both.

Pocahontas was an open minded individual with an incredible ability to gain wisdom out of the smallest things: nature, animals, interactions with people whereas Smith was an overly confident, slightly narcissistic male with a superiority complex. He's ok, but definitely doesn't measure up to Pocahontas' level of uniqueness.
