Their ethnicities:
there's a lot of বিতর্ক about what ethnicity/nationality each of them are (except for the obvious ones where the countries are actually named/referenced, like Scotland, America, and China). but most of the white princesses seem to be generic European ones. let me see if I've got this right:
Snow: German, likely. The forest looks very similar to the German Black Forest but the জন্তু জানোয়ার are closer to what we have in America.
Cinderella: French, though she looks আরো Dutch to me, but some of the words and names in the movie are French.
Aurora: people seem to argue about hers the most. I've heard usually English and French but I personally think German. She doesn't look French at ALL (though to be fair neither does Cindy), her long face and lighter coloring look আরো Germanic to me, and her দুর্গ is apparently based on the German Neuschwanstein castle. আপনি can also see flags that greatly resemble the German flag in the beginning of the film.
Ariel: I used to think Greek because of the land, Eric's dark hair and olive-y skin, and because sirens are pretty close to mermaids, but none of the names but Triton are Greek. I think she might just be Danish like the original tale. Ariel's is the most vague ethnicity so it's hard to say.
Belle: French.
Jasmine: I think Arabian, but she also looks Persian and her palace is clearly inspired দ্বারা the Taj Mahal.
Pocahontas: Native American obviously, but I forget what tribe.
Mulan: Chinese of course.
Tiana: American of African descent.
Rapunzel: Findingcorona.tumblr.com was so interesting to read! They point out hints of Bavarian (German), Polish, and Hungarian culture in her movie. Corona however is Spanish- but I think she's German, what with her name and the word Gothel (t's a word, not an actual name). However, apparently the palace is based on the Mont Saint Michel দুর্গ in France, and Fitzherbert is also a French name. Still, I don't see any other hints that it's French.
Merida: obviously Scottish.
Anna and Elsa: th
