I find it kind of kiddish compared to the other DP movies

Time to leave, Aladdin. This movie has horrible plot holes, a weak soundtrack mostly carried by only one great song (A Whole New World), a bitchy princess who talks a lot and does too little (and happens to be my least favorite), and a sidekick that sometimes annoys me (the Genie).

Go away you waste of CGI, and take Aladdin and Sleeping beauty with you.

I was never a fan of this movie. It wasn't awful, but I didn't really like Ariel's personality. She just seemed selfish to me. More so than any other DP

I will be voting for this one forever.

And Jasmine is not bitchy. She needs to make herself heard or will end up as a trophy wife to some prince.

I basically agree with Animaluco. Say what you like about Jasmine, she's all talk and no action. And ultimately, that's basically how I feel about all of this movie. Lots of great potential which is overdone to death and just gets tiresome by the end. And it's awfully dated.

It's a cute movie and all but there's so much filler and while I love a cute turtle struggling to go up the stairs, I'd rather have more of the Prince involved with the story.
