Who likes her?

I love her and so do other loyal fans, but I feel like she gets A LOT of criticism.

I don't like her, but most everyone else does.

God knows I can't see why, since she only cares about getting what she wants at any given moment, but that's how it goes.

If this was asked before, I would have picked the ''adore'' option, even if she had vocal haters. But now, there seems to be a lot of people who don't like her, though she still has some big fans on here left.

^^^I dont know where you get that from Tygers_Eye- but please say " IN MY OPINION" , we all , including me should try and do it more. I have to agree with MalloMar and a little bit with dimitri.

@ Persephone: Sorry. Ariel spends the vast majority of her movie focused only on pursuing what she wants at any given moment (read: human stuff), stopping to notice that non-human individuals exist only when a) she's already gotten what she wanted (like collected the trinkets in the sunken ship and brought them to Scuttle), b) when they're in the jaws of death (Flounder and Sebastian) and c) right in front of her face (like how Sebastian has to physically hover in front of her eyes for her to acknowledge he's talking, never mind listen), so IN MY OPINION her personality is based on how she actually behaves in her movie. She's pretty self-absorbed and self-serving.

Well IN MY OPINION, you are way way way off and I dont think we watched the same movie. Just goes to show its in the eye of the beholder.

My impression is that Ariel is ROUNDLY CRITICIZED ALL THE TIME. And Elsa IS PRAISED ALL THE TIME.

I have just as much reason to label ELSA A COWARD as Tiger_Eyes has to label Ariel self-serving. These are just opinions, is all.

I'm sick of people shoving Elsa in my face and telling me how "beautiful, powerful, wonderful, self-less, and so on." If Elsa was all those things--- then would she garner the hate she has from me? NO.

BUT ELSA IS NONE OF THE ABOVE.

^^^ @ iwasneverhere-And I can in my own opinion personally agree with you. Not completely on the Elsa part but I think you worded the parts about Ariel very well.

I try not to get irked. But Ariel bashing on here is the norm. Most people think Elsa is the end all be all. I have an unpopular opinion of her, mind you.

I hope Moana has some chance to make an impression. I'd hate Moana to constantly be put down when compared to Elsa.

even if there is a lot of critisism of her she is still pretty high on a lot of lists and the adorers are still there...
