Belle is nothing special in the intelligence department. She's nowhere near Jasmine or Mulan. I think Mulan is the smartest princess but Jasmine isn't too far behind.

Reading book doesn't mean she's intelligence.

They're all intelligent in their own way. Jasmine's cunning, Mulan's strategic, and Belle has "Book Smarts"

By far! I my opinion, Jasmine is the smartest DP, Mulan is kind of smart but not that much, and Belle isn't smart at all.

Or Belle maybe.

Then Jasmine, I don't think Belle is actually that smart.

If reading a whole library of books doesn't make you at least knowledgable than I really don't know what does. People think her reading books is the equivalent to reading cheap romance novels like Twighlight. Back then in the time that the movie is set in the books of back then were much more high level. I get it, reading books doesn't necessarily make you intelligent but the amount she read makes you at least a very knowledgable person and that leads to being intelligent.

Anyway, I chose Mulan but I think all three are smart.
