Well, my mom doesn't care, because she loves me for me. <3
But my dad, who is almost the complete opposite of me (ie, has no ounce of childishness in him) thinks it's immature and constantly complains about it.
"You're too old to be watching Disney this much!" (etc, etc.)

They call me immature just because I think Disney is amazing for its storytelling and art. Same with the Powerpuff Girls. ><

I don't have an OBSESSION with Disney.

No one in my family has a clue about my obsession... I've kept it hidden for a few years. I'm not sure if they'd really care though, considering that my sibling doesn't know the difference between Snow White and Cinderella. My mom would probably be okay with it if she knew, but my dad might be a different matter.

My mom doesn't really care. At first she was like "You gotta be kidding." Now she's used to it. My dad is still like "Grow up already." He really doesn't understand my Disney obsession. I think that if I wasn't so into the princesses he could accept my obsession better.

See, I never understand why parents get upset. It's a harmless obsession. It's not like we're obsessed with weed, alcohol, cigarettes, (at least I hope not), death, or anything else harmful. It's like being obsessed with unicorns...what's the problem?

I don't see anything wrong either. :/ Not all Disney movies are like sunshine and rainbow either. I have to admit though, the current Disney (Hannah Montana for instance) really stinks, and I guess this is what they are basing their judgment on.

I hate when my friends assume I'm obsessed with Hannah Montana and High School Musical because I'm obsessed with Disney. Once when i said I had an obsession with it, my friend was like "Really? Aren't you too old for Hannah Montana?" I literally yelled "THAT'S NOT DISNEY!" and everyone was staring at me, it was embarrassing

It doesn't really bother my mother too much.She is used to me going on the crazy speells when a certian Disney movie comes out and get carried away it.Anyways she likes Disney too, because she likes alot of the Disney movies I like.Of course her favorite is diffeernt from mine,Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast are her favorites and mine are Pocahontas and Princess and the Frog.But she does love alot of the same things I do.So I have no problem at all.

Neither care

I believe my dad likes it. He keep asking me what Disney movies we don't have on DVD and then buys them for me. As for my mom, I think she did although I'm wasn't as obsessed back in highschool as I am now.

Oh, I'm a fan of the PPG too. I remember when I worked at a kodak place in a amusement part a year ago and dancing and singing around the back room as the park played the PPG theme song.

My mum is like "At least she's not going out smoking, drinking and sexing."
I haven't even so much as spoken to my dad for years. He still thinks I'm in my emo phase. Oh, that awful time when I was 11.
My Grandma seems to like it somewhat. I'm the only one of her grandchildren that isn't going to her house just to exploit her large food portions. I do go because of that anyway because I love to eat but I also go because it's peaceful. We bake cakes, watch Disney films (and the occassional horror/gorey stuff. She LOVES Final Destination) and then I beat her at Buzz repeatedly. Even though she's getting better at Monkey Buzz. I still have the high score on the long game leaderboard. ;)

My Mum dislikes it, she always asks me whether I'm going to grow up, but my friends also love Disney. On some occasions I watch Disney films with my friends and we don't think any thing bad of it. I was going away recently on an important meeting thing and I was packing, my Mum came in and said "You better not be packing any Disney movies" I just laughed and packed Aladdin and Pocahontas. ;)

My Dad doesn't mind it, he watches them with me sometimes.

However none of my family or friends are aware of my FANPOP addiction...I keep that part to myself.

But when they see me watching Disney movie that always ask:" Don't you have something better to do?". And my sister teases me because of the fanpop, and she is younger

My dad doesn't really care, but my mum loves it just as much! I think her favourite is Mulan.

My parents know I'm a kid at heart and I'm a Disney freak. It's good cause they always know something what to get me. My mom doesn't mind at all about my Disney obsession, she just doesn't like it too much when we go into the Disney Store and I take forever to decide which stuffed animal to get. My dad is also a kid at heart so he believes in the healing power of cartoons. Although they hate how I get scared so inredibly easily over one Disney movie. My friends don't care about my obsession either, they've learned to live with it. xD They all also know it's more classic Disney and Disney movies than Disney Channel. Some things about the Disney Channel I like, like HSM, but I don't consider that Disney. Disney and Disney Channel are two completely different things.
And Powerpuff Girls is awesome, too! Bubbles is the best ever! ^^

Haha, it's not that my parents completely hate me for my obsession, but they don't care for it. My mom always nags about "will you stop singing Disney songs" and such, but I think she's gotten more used to the routine. The only time when it really gets her is when I blast the music from my computer xD

Oh, and yeah I love the Power Puff Girls since age 5 xD

It's so refreshing to be able to sit down and watch a quality movie that the whole family can enjoy. My whole family loves my Disney obsession, because it gives them 100+ movies to choose from when they are in a Disney-mood.

Meheheh. My parents like cartoons too, of all kind. (They especially love Tarzan and all of the DP movies)
I like watching cartoons, drawing fanart, editing stuff and surfing on here.
They think it's normal (well, it IS more normal than the things kids I know do) and they don't really care.

They're the same way. They took me to Disney World when I was five months old and I've gone twice a year at least since then, and we have Disney all over the house, even Mickey's painted on the birdhouses and a bird bath with Bambi on it. Except I'm way worse than they are

They know about it, but I don't know what they think about it...my sister is getting slightly annoyed, though.

I hide my favorite stuffs from almost everyones lol. My parents doesn't even care with it, but when I bought some Disney related merchandises it seems like they're okay with that.

Don't really know? Ha! Even my university teachers know about it! Father doesn't care. Mom and grandma call me immature for it.
