Because it's the only one who's culture is in no way similar to that of the others listed.

I'm into both Indian and Japanese culture though, so either one would be fine. For Japan, they could do The Moon Princess or Momotaro. I don't really know any Indian legends besides ones relating to religion, so they could just do something historical or some completely made up BS for that.

DEFINITELY. I'd love to see Disney's interpretation of all the beautiful outfits and saris.

Please, no Japan or Korean. The Princess would look like Mulan for most of her appearances, i bet.

I understand what you mean chericherry, but we don't have to make the Japanese or Korean Princess look exactly like Mulan.
